New Mazda RX-8 finally looks like a sportscar

So first i liked the RX-8, always thought its a cool car but it just didnt had the flair of the RX-7, this japanese sportscar touch.
Well Mazda presented the new one now and even when the main design and shape is still the same, there are some new design elements i find awesome.

Are the Japanese car manufactors now finally back after the horrible last 2 years?
When i look at the GT-R and RX-8 i think yes.
Something i dislike is the power, its to weak.
The RX-7 always was the Sportscar to conquer the Skyline and NSX, i dont think this one will compete against an R-35.

You know I was seriously considering buying an RX-8 the last few months and after test driving a few I came to realize what the car was about. It's all about perfect balance. It never made sense to compare it to the RX-7, which was made to be a balls out sports car. Having said that 20ish more horse power doesn't hurt it :thumpsup:

I hate the new head lights though, the old car looks terrible in pictures, but gorgeous in person. They stole the new steering wheel from the MX-5 too

Yes I seen that video a week ago and had to watch it a few times. Love that sound!

I'm still not a huge fan of the RX-8, just not the body style I would look for if I was gonna buy a sports car. Still a nice car of course. I don't know which I prefer, new or old. I'd go with the new :)

I used to own a RX-7. Damn that car was super FUN. This new RX-8 look very nice. I did not like the older one for most of the reasons that the dude listed. But this new model is an big improvement over the last one. I like rotary engine cars, so maybe this might be in my future.

If I was going with a mazda, it would be a Mazdaspeed Miata (last gen mx5). THATS a great machine!

Yeah Mazda is really having a large impact on North America in the last bit.

I would love to have a Mazdaspeed 3 but like I said its not the same sporty style. If I went with a high horsepower car I would get myself something thats AWD for sure. RWD would be nice but living in Canada I would really love to drive my car all year around.
