‘Float away your stress on our unique suspended lounger’
British Company, Hoverit Ltd, introduce ‘The Lounger’, which is the first of their revolutionary magnetic ‘hover’ furniture range. British design, precision engineered and British built by hand. Defying gravity with the use of repelling magnetic forces in both the bed and base this contemporary lounger is comfortable, practical and stylish. Permanent magnets can also help back, muscular problems and headaches, so our furniture not only looks good - it may make you feel good too. The sensation that you feel as you lay back and close your eyes is totally different, like floating on a cloud.
Innovative cutting edge design.
Whether inside or out, the entire lounger can be easily moved with the aid of small castor wheels in the base. Hoverit continue to develop and design and engineer their entire range using state-of-the-art CAD software.
New ‘limited edition’ lounger that defies gravity.
Custom build options available. By default we supply Hoverit Lounges in clear acrylic which allows you to see every component. Each lounger comes with a clear anti-scratch mat and a limited edition certificate and serial number.
Don’t just sit – Hoverit.

And a hovering bed:
Air Mattress
Your eyes do not deceive you: that sleek slab levitating in midair is in fact a bed, and it is floating unsupported--though lightly tethered at its four corners--16 in. above the floor. The hovering bed is the daydream of a Dutch designer who says he was inspired by the monolith in the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. Its secret is a matching set of repelling magnets, built into the bed and the floor below, that's powerful enough to support almost 2,000 lbs. The magnetic fields are supposed to be perfectly safe for sleepers, but you're advised to take off your earrings before vacuuming underneath.
