anyway, now that Burnout Paradise is out the way when do you all expect info on Black (I so hate that title) 2? The first was an amazing game, especially on ps2 surprisingly. Who bought that game?

Honestly I never played the game but heard it was great. Not sure about another one coming out but I don't see why not if the first one sold well.

No they confirmed it, it's coming.

I didn't buy Black1 but I rented and got pretty far on it and yes it was awesome.
But it was impressive because it did what this gen does well last-gen so I don't know how interesting it will be now, we'll see.

There were rumors of Criterion remaking Black for the current systems, but I guess they might be developing Black 2 as well as a next gen Road Rash according to many rumors.

I didn't like Black (just not my kind of game) but I acknowledge the impressive technical achievement on PS2 and the nice art direction. The gameplay was good but the storyline sucked hard.

Oh yeah forgot about that (my memory automatically represses horrible things) and the way the story told was pretty annoying too.

With shitty acted, dark rooms with guys talking..........And you couldn't skip them! :cry2:

I actually wonder if there was a storyline (amazing that I don't remember almost any detail about it). It all seemed like a sequence of fire battles with no point to any of them other than firing a lot.

but i loved the game, i loved it when you'd go into a big room, have a massive firefight with all these huge explosions going off and stuff, then afterwards look at the room and it's all just been shot up to shit. it was great.

I've also been looking forward to the next game. I can't wait for a level that will top the Asylum (amazing action).

The unskippable cutscenes drove me mad too. :lol:
