i couldnt find the old thread about it but i found out some info on the tracks and other info
Tracks – A selection of the best tracks taken from previous wipEout titles, meticulously crafted and fully reworked from the ground-up to showcase the full-HD resolution.
Vineta K – On the southern shores of Makana Island, the circuit at Vineta K snakes in and out of the ocean and across the beaches. The highlights of this 4.4km track include spectacular underwater tunnels and cutting-edge architecture along the waterfront.
Chenghou Project – The feature-packed circuit at Chenghou Project weaves its way around the offices and corporate buildings of Makana Island's business district. The 4.8 km track contains a tricky inverse-cambered spiral and culminates in a long jump into the tunnelled entry of the final chicane.
Sebenco Climb – The 4.8 km Sebenco Climb track is cut into the hillsides of Makana's Sebenco mountain range. It features a steep traverse up the snowy mountainside, followed by a breathtaking plunge into an icy tunnel carved through the very heart of the mountain. The final section takes pilots through a challengingly tight chicane before they swing back onto the grid.
Sol 2 – The 4.4 km Sol 2 circuit hangs suspended in the clouds high above Makana Island. Consisting of a series of fast-flowing, occasionally open-sided corners linked by sweeping straights, the combination of harsh sunlight and blind summits ensure that Sol 2 is a test of nerve for every speed class.
Ubermall – In the heart of Makana Island's commercial zone is Ubermall, a 4.6 km circuit built into a vast shopping centre. The latter half of the track contains a brief split which rejoins into a narrow hill, followed by an outdoor park section that leads swiftly to the finish.
Anulpha Pass – The 5 km Anulpha Pass track is located in a custom-built entertainment arena on the east side of Makana Island. Although the track looks deceptively simple from above, the undulations of the track surface and narrow skill-cut are enough to keep any racer on their toes.
Moa Therma – The immense man-made complex of Moa Therma is located just off the northern coast of Sicily, with around a third of the track surface built using mag-strip technology. The centrepiece of this 5.3 km circuit is the gigantic horizontal loop which sits just above sea level.
Metropia – The 4.7 km Metropia circuit weaves its way between the skyscrapers and traffic control towers that dominate the Kyoto skyline. Glass-bottomed track surfaces and a stunning vertical mag-strip drop into the depths of the city are just two of the highlights of this popular track.
An IGN article with the track listing has already been posted in the GDC thread:

Wasn't there a fairly recent in-game XMB related rumour stating that games created with the newest iteration of the dev kits would have the in-game XMB supported by default whereas older games would have to apply a patch?
Will try and dig out the rumour unless someone wants to save me the hassle (using the PS3 web browser)

Wipeout HD Q&A
Posted by wotta, 2008-03-12
Wipeout HD is set to hit the Playstation Network anytime now and anyone who has checked out the trailers that are on the store will no doubt have been impressed. So while we eagerly wait for this (no doubt) brilliant game to hit the store, why not read the following Q&A with Studio Liverpool’s Colin Berry, the games Lead Designer and learn more about the team and of course, Wipeout HD.
Enjoy!
How many people do you have working on WipEout HD?
We started with a very small team in spring 2007 of around 6 people. We are now up to around 25 or 30 to ensure the final code delivers all the great media feedback we’ve had so far following E3 and the Leipzig Games Convention.
Is there anyone who’s worked on all the WipEout games since the start of the franchise?
There are a couple of people yes, an Artist (Darren Douglas) and a Producer (Paul Tweedle) who started out by QA’ing the first WipEout!
What do you think makes the WipEout team so special?
There is a good team spirit; we all help each other out as much as possible. Also there are lots of people on the team who are fans of the series so there is a high level of care and attention to detail and it helps having talented designers, artists and coders on the game.
What was the one thing the team wanted to change/or introduce most for WipEout HD?
We wanted to provide a good solid online experience for a television based WipEout game. We see online play as a big feature in HD. Also 60 frames per second full 1080p was a day one priority. We also wanted to make it a great addition to PLAYSTATION Store by offering it as a downloadable title.
How long has it taken to make WipEout a full HD game for PLAYSTATION 3?
We started work on the artwork around about February 2007 and the code around April, so just under a year.
Would it be fair to consider HD as a port? Apart from 1080p visuals and 60 frames per second animations, what makes it different to Pure and Pulse?
Firstly people should not underestimate the changes that 60 frames per second and 1080p visuals make to the game. Sure the environments are taken from the PSP versions initially but so much work has gone into hi-resing them up, every building model, and every texture. The game looks so much richer. All the ships are new hi-res models with hi-res texturing and improved lighting too, so the visual changes are dramatically enhanced. The game also has a sleeker new HD front end, the handling model has been refined to fit the Sixaxis controller also the collision system has been improved. Then of course there is online multiplayer which fair enough appears in WipEout Pulse but it is great fun. Playing WipEout against other people on a big TV, it is a lot of fun. In some terms its easy to say ‘it is a port’ but that is something of a disservice, the game has had an overhaul and a freshen up in many little ways which combined give it a strong identity and make it a solid game in its own right. We certainly don’t regard it as a port. Then of course there is downloadable content, which depending on what we settle on, can further push the WipEout HD experience. We are hoping the initial release of HD will be a starting point. We really feel that WipEout HD will be a great addition to PLAYSTATION Store.
Do you think full HD has brought about a big change in the game?
I am proud of Pure and Pulse and what we have achieved with them, and WipEout Pulse is a damn good PSP game and experience, it is featured packed and will not disappoint. HD though offers something different, it offers the WipEout experience on a big screen for the first time in a long time, it looks awesome, it plays nice and feels smooth. It is a different experience for people who have maybe forgotten what WipEout on a big screen is like. And of course, 1080p visuals and 60 frames-per-second clearly combined with online play clearly make a big difference on a TV screen.
Tell us a bit about the game – is it for established fans or new owners of PS3?
Hopefully WipEout HD will satisfy the core WipEout fans and also be accessible to people who maybe have not played any of the series before. WipEout has always been seen as a hard game, a gamers’ game and that is something we have to cater for and so we have to have a blisteringly frightening speed class within the game and hard competitive AI opponents. But we also want to attract new players and appeal to people who maybe have not tried a futuristic racing game before who are used to their racing games involving cars. As such we have introduced 3 difficulty levels to accompany the 4 speed classes in the game, thus people can start at a beginners’ level if they are new to the game, or start straight off on the hard difficulty if they are a long time fan of the series.
Can you tell us about some of the additional downloadable content that’s going to be available?
We are still deciding exactly what downloadable content we will release for HD, but hopefully we will be releasing additional tracks which could include a mixture of old tracks and brand new ones. Additional ships and music are also on the list of downloadable content we hope to release. We are also looking into releasing an extra game mode or two via downloadable content, but the exact extent and feasibility of this, we are still looking into. So for the time being, nothing concrete, but plenty of options are available to us.
WipEout is renowned for its music – can you tell us about what’s in store for HD?
The initial release of HD will contain 9 music tracks from WipEout Pulse, including tracks from Kraftwerk, Mason, DJ Fresh and Stanton Warriors. All the music is going to be mixed in 5.1 surround as are the sound effects.
You can use the SIXAXIS controller – where will you use it because we think steering at 100s of mph will be pretty difficult?
We are currently looking into this, we have a few ideas but we also share the concern of how useful full Sixaxis motion control will be at the highest speeds. There are however several ways we are looking into implementing it, it could end up linked into the weapon functionality or the ship pitch control it doesn’t necessarily have to link to the direct steering control of the ship.
Are you satisfied with the levels of online gameplay for the HD version?
As a designer I am never satisfied with anything I always want more, more features, more time, more everything concerning each and every aspect of the game. We are still working hard on the online side of WipEout HD and it is progressing well. The online gameplay is good and due to the plug-in modular system of design and code we can expand the feature set of the game through downloads, meaning that the initial online experience on launch can be added to over time to further enrich the experience.
After such a distinguished history, where does a franchise like WipEout go from here?
For the time being we are continuing to work hard on WipEout HD and supporting it through additional content. Beyond that, there is not much more to add at the moment, although on a personal level I think online functionality should play a large part in as many games as possible these days where feasible.
Who holds the fastest lap record on any track in the office?
That is most likely to be Karl Jones, one of the designers. He is pretty much established as the best player, although one of the programmers, Martin Linklater would argue otherwise, and recently I have been close to catching up too.
If you could add one more weapon to the game, what would it be?
Well after Pure, we wanted the cannon back and so we added it. I’m not sure there is one off the top of my head. The weapons are integral to the game and the balance of the game and we consider them heavily. I guess in future I’d like us to maybe look at some sort of battering-ram / snow plough type effect but this would more likely be additional functionality for the Auto-Pilot as opposed a new weapon.
Is there a track you’ve always wanted to have on a WipEout game that you haven’t been able to get?
I guess that is music track…. We have tended to be very lucky with music in that we tend to get the people we want. People we have approached have been keen to provide us with work. Getting Kraftwerk was especially pleasing based on their history and body of work. From a purely personal point of view, there is a track on the Spawn soundtrack called No Remorse, it is Slayer featuring Atari Teenage Riot. I think a remix of that would be great, but it is purely my personal choice.
Sometimes, I am not sure it is good to highlight. It certainly encourages more people to read. But on other hand, I am afraid that some people might miss out something simply because I did not highlight it.
Anyway, I am looking forward to experience WipEout in HD.

I like this use of the six axis. You still use the stick for steering, but use the tilt for pitch control.

so post the small pic. then highlight all of it and click the URL linking icon and enter the URL. :)

WipEout HD delayed due to technical issue (http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=191929)
News by Tom Bramwell
Today 19:57
WipEout HD has yet to be released because of a "specific technical problem", but Sony hopes it will be out "before the end of the year".
"There is a specific technical problem with WipEout that we have to solve. I can't go into details but it is a really, really tricky technical problem that no region has been able to solve at the moment," Sony Europe boss David Reeves told us when we hassled him about the game's progress this week at LA.
"I think it will come out before the end of the year but it is something that was just very difficult to get to grips with."
Which is a shame, because WipEout HD looks great and we were pretty happy with it when we got to play around with an unfinished build a few months ago.
WipEout HD features eight tracks borrowed and spruced up from the excellent PSP games along with online multiplayer and the promise of downloadable content. It also aims to run at 60 frames-per-second in 1080p.Weird and disappointing to say the least.

WipEout HD delayed for failing epilepsy tests
Tuesday 22-Jul-2008 5:37 PM Futuristic racer to be "re-engineered" CVG learns
Many, many things were missing from E3 last week but if you're a Sony fan, one of them was anything to do with the long-awaited PSN version of WipEout.
The streamlined HD racer was strangely absent from Sony's E3 conference, with the firm citing technical difficulties as the culprit.
We've been playing a near finished version of the game here in the office for ages now. Check out these exclusive movies to see how pretty it looks. All we were waiting for then was news of a release and how much it would set us back.
Imagine our surprise when we were told that the game had failed epilepsy tests and has to be re-engineered as a result before it can be released to the public.
CVG has been told that WipEout "fails the epilepsy tests so much that it has to be re-engineered." All that speed and flashing lights zipping past your eyes must be too much to handle.
No further details were available, such as how long this re-working might take but we've contacted Sony and are still awaiting an official response on the status of WipEout HD and when we can expect to see it launch on PSN.
And while we're at it, what ever happened to the PSN release of 2097 (XL in the US)? You'll know when we do.http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=193765
I wonder how they test that?
I have visions of a test centre somewhere with 100 epileptic kids strapped to chairs (for their own safety) being told to play Wipeout for an extended period of time. I bet they make good money though.

I am quite relieved Sony caught this one early... imagine the flack they'd get, if too many kids suffered seizured because of this game. Bad PR, VERY bad PR
Hmm... that's actually quite hard to change... I mean... I am not 100% familiar with epilepsy (I know no one who has it), but afaik it is because of flashing lights/colors. There were (iirc) some Amiga games, which got problems too.

yeah it's because of flashing images... thing is, every Wipeout has played the same, so unless this is a specific level or two with flashing neon graphics or the such, this could potentially get this game canned.

No WipEout game to date has been so fast and so sharp. I can see how the art direction mixed with the extreme motion could produce seizures and motion sickness. Who knows how they could modify it so that it doesn't look different while being safe for everyone.
If there is any truth to that rumor, that is.

IIRC practically every PS one game had epilepsy warnings on it (here in australia at least). I remember asking my parents what it meant at the time, and they explained it was basically the flashing lights. Even the console may have had a warning. It's not exactly a new phenomenon, or one isolated to wipeout.

It's not that they cannot "stand" light, they get seizures and cramps... they can in worst cases end in death...
Epilepsy is one an illness you don't wish your worst enemys would get. And even people with no preconcieved condition get get epileptic seizures. That is the jist of it. People who know who are susceptible to epilepsy avoid those kind of games, but many people just don't know that they can get seizures from gaming!

Fredag
07-24-2008, 01:32 AM
No one called them morons, and that's not the point. Wipeout it's not the kind of game that is easy to fix without taking some of the good shit out, so the discussion is not out of place. I think I can handle the risk, and if they want to make games that are kind to epileptics, then Wipeout would still be my last choice due to the nature of the game...
This game should have been released yesterday, so I believe in education and warnings before another delay. It has been almost finished for month now, if they at least told us they would ad some tracks or put stuff in while fixing it, it would be easier to wait even longer.
Segitz
07-24-2008, 01:54 AM
iirc the Gamecube FW always showed the "please beware of seizures ... ..." before any game started. Some more light intensive games on PS2 did so too (I can't think of a name now, but I vaguely remember those signs). I think REZ did... (don't own it anymore, so I can't check)
EVERY manual has the first page with the epilepsy warning nowadays too!

Sigh - more people should know that a sign is very legal. If I dug a hole (on property I owned of course) in the middle of a path and you fell into it and broke your leg, I would be liable.
If I put up a sign saying, beware of hole, it would be your own fault

In the US, you'd get sued anyway. We've taken liability to new heights. If I break into a laboratory and spill acid on myself because it wasn't appropriately stored, I can sue the lab. Even our signs get a bit on top of themselves.

Point is, while I absolutely agree that they should just release the game already, they are probably still afraid of being sued.

Following reports concerning the delay to Wipeout HD and suggestions that the game had failed an epilepsy test, a SCEE representative today provided TVG with an official response.
"The reason for the delay of WipEout HD on PS3 has been due to the many improvements we have been making and the numerous features we've added to the game. These include: 8 reverse tracks, 4 extra ships, 2 alternative HUDS, 2 Player offline split screen and XMB Trophy support. We look forward to sharing WipEout HD with you very soon.

PS3 Fanboy hands-on: WipEout HD
Posted Aug 6th 2008 12:00PM by Andrew Yoon
Filed under: e-Distribution Games, Hands-on
http://www.blogsmithmedia.com/www.ps3fanboy.com/media/2008/08/wipeoutnycha.jpg
After a months-long delay supposedly caused by failing seizure tests, it seems like WipEout HD is finally ready to debut on the PSN. The long-awaited HD follow-up to the PSP games, WipEout Pure and WipEout Pulse have many excited. One quick look at the game reveals exactly why: it is gorgeous, fast and absolutely breathtaking. We got a chance to play the upcoming downloadable title, and we limped away, impressed by the presentation and the absolutely visceral racing experience.
Yes, the game runs at a silky smooth 60fps. Yes, the texture work is fantastic. However, the technical achievements shouldn't overlook the game's great sense of style. While many of these tracks will familiar to PSP owners, they come to life with a brand new level of detail that the handheld simply couldn't pull off. There are all sorts of visual treats scattered across the tracks, and in your ship's HUD as well. The newly redesigned HUD is more dynamic than ever, distorting from nearby attacks, shaking during collisions, etc. Entering first-person mode will increase the sensation of really being in a supersonic vehicle even further.
One mode we're particularly impressed with this time around is the newly revamped HD Zone mode. Zone was one of the best modes from the PSP games, and this time it's back with a few enhancements. While Pure featured high-contrast tracks, Pulse added a bit more color to make it more visually appealing. HD takes it a step further with music synchronized textures on the tracks themselves. The music you're listening to will dynamically change the look of the track as you race along it, and as your ship gets progressively faster with each zone you enter, the color scheme of the entire world may suddenly morph all around you. It's stunning and absolutely must be experienced. Speed freaks will be glad to hear that speeds in Zone now reach "Zen," a level far beyond the Phantom levels offered in previous games.
Progression through the single player campaign should be familiar to anyone who's played WipEout Pulse. Once again, the "Grid" mode returns, with players able to select various race types to progress forward. Each trial that's completed unlocks adjacent ones, and when the player gets an adequate number of points (from earning medals), they'll move onto another grid. Each grid will give players access to new levels.
The loyalty system found in Pulse also returns, to encourage players to use the same ships. Each race, regardless of winning or losing, will give the player experience points for that ship. Over time, new skins and other bonuses can be unlocked for the ships. There's also a Photo Mode, which allows you to take pictures from the game and save them to your PS3 hard drive to share.
For vets of the franchise that have played the PSP games, none of this comes as surprising. However, even the most seasoned racers will have to get used to the adjusted controls offered by the PS3 controller. Once again, both the D-Pad and analog stick can be used to manuver the vehicle. The ships slither along the tracks a bit more easily, although turning has become much more tightened since previous iterations -- don't overuse the shoulder buttons, as they are incredibly effective in HD. We're glad to see that in our races, many of the new weapons found in Pulse have returned, and the ability to do a 360 degree mid-air turn for a boost bonus is easier than ever to perform.
While much of the content should be familiar for fans, everything still feels brand new thanks to the magnificent engine the guys at Liverpool have created for the game. Don't think of this as a stopgap until a "real" WipEout game -- this really is the real deal. Once again, the PSN has upped the ante for the kind of content you can find through digital distribution. If this preview has got you antsy for more, worry not -- details on WipEout HD's new release date (and price!) are coming soon.

Wipeout HD to Cost $20 in North America
Sony's futuristic racer to cost $20 when it lands on PSN.
The other night in San Francisco Sony held a Wipeout HD event for the press to get some really good hands-on time with the PSN racer. While it wasn't a launch party per se (though the game is done -- and has been done for a little while now -- we'll just have to wait until Sony decides to drop it on PSN in the coming weeks/months), it was a chance to see the final game and get in some great multiplayer matches. (You'll get to read some of my impressions later today, but you can also check out my previous impressions from a few weeks ago).
One good bit of news that came out of the event, though, was that Wipeout HD will be priced $20 when it hits PSN in the U.S. -- which is surely going to make this one of the hottest downloaded titles this fall. With 16 of the best Wipeout tracks from the past all redone in incredible HD, this is what many would consider a "full" game being released online, and at a considerably lower price point. It's not often that you can say you're getting a terrific deal when it comes to downloadable content in the games world; this is one of those cases where you absolutely will.

The Euro price should be anywhere between 15 and 20. It's weird because there's usually some parity between $ and € prices, but we know it'll be 12 pounds in the UK, which translates to 15 €. We'll see soon.
They don't seem to directly translate it according to currency. The UK price always seems to be just over half the US price. So perhaps the European price will be slightly cheaper.
VG Aficionado
09-13-2008, 12:23 AM
Yeah. It's not that they translate it, it's just that they do parity. Usually never the same net amount.
In any case, 20 euros or anything below that is a steal, IMO.

Well I'm bored so did it anyway, everyone should give it a read:
PAGE 1
WipEout HD has left me agitated and dissatisfied. Before the usual suspects scamper off to post a comment, with their PS3lols at the ready, perhaps I should clarify. WipEout HD has left me agitated and dissatisfied because the crisp 1080p visuals and rock solid 60fps presentation have made me realise just how compromised the Great HD Gaming Revolution has been.
We've become so accustomed to accepting 720p resolutions and mostly stable 30fps frame rates as the best we can expect that when something really does take full advantage of the display technology available, it can't help make everything else look like a half measure.
In other words, WipEout HD looks f**king phenomenal.
I'm usually the last person to care about the minutiae details of a game's technical presentation, provided the experience is fun. I'm also a firm believer that gameplay is vastly more important than graphics. Yet with WipEout HD the presentation and graphics are arguably the most important elements, since the gameplay is mostly a known quantity - with tracks and features ported across from WipEouts Pure and Pulse on the PSP.
For this generously priced PS3 version (it's GBP 11.99), you get eight tracks culled from the two PSP titles, Pure and Pulse, both of which caused Tom to excitedly rub oily 9/10s all over their firm oak-like thighs. Vineta K, Anulpha Pass, Chengou Project, Sebenco Climb, Ubermall and Sol 2 all appear from WipEout Pure, and are joined by Moa Therma and Metropia from WipEout Pulse. More are planned as downloadable extras, of course.
http://images.eurogamer.net/assets/articles//a/2/3/8/6/3/8/a_med_WipeoutHD01.jpg.jpg
[All the screenshots in this review were taken and tweaked using the game's own Photo Mode software.]
Progression through the campaign mode also takes it cue from Pulse, with a hexagonal grid structure opening up access to adjacent events as you win medals. The campaign is broken down into eight events ranging from Uplift (easy-peasy) to Meltdown (ohmygodwhatshappening) with each new event unlocking as you earn enough points.
Control is exactly as you'd expect, with acceleration and airbrakes still your twin lifelines in the rough and tumble world of high speed futuristic racing. Memorising and hitting the turbo pads remains the key to success. Learning which ramps and jumps can be used to pull off a speed-boosting barrel roll can be the difference between gold and bronze. Weapon deployment is mapped to the square button, while circle allows you to absorb unwanted weapons to repair ship damage.
You can also make use of the optional Sixaxis motion sensing feature, and the game can lay claim to being one of the first PS3 titles to find a truly intuitive use for the function. Motion control comes in two flavours - pitch and steering, or just pitch. Opt for the former and tilting the joypad controls the entire craft. It's fiendishly difficult, if only because it's an entirely new way of playing.
PAGE 2
More interesting is the option to just use the motion sensing to control the pitch of your craft. Fly off a ramp, and lifting the joypad raises the nose of your ship. If you're one of those players who sways in their seat while playing a racing game, chances are you'll be doing this anyway - so it feels completely intuitive.
For those who are new to WipEout there's now Pilot Assist, a passive auto-pilot function which nudges you away from track edge. It sounds like a cheat, but it's actually a cleverly balanced little feature. If you race like a lunatic, it won't do you much good and you'll still clang and scrape your way around the circuits. It's less of a sop for rubbish players and more of a gentle helper for intermediate players.
If you're racing well, but haven't quite mastered the air brakes yet, Pilot Assist will pick up some of the slack. Rely on it in the higher speed categories, however, and you'll soon discover its deliberate limitations. Given how uncompromising the series has often been, it's a thoughtful way of opening the game out to newcomers without trashing the delicate racing balance.
This balance is important, since WipEout HD comes with a bunch of multiplayer options. Local split-screen play is a feature that too many games have ditched in this bold new online age, so it's nice to see it retained here - and with no noticeable effect on the frame rate.
Of course online play is also supported, although it is perhaps the one area that feels slightly undercooked. Up to eight racers can take part, but your choices are limited to single races or tournaments only. Competitive modes from the PSP such as Elimination are conspicuous by their absence.
http://images.eurogamer.net/assets/articles//a/2/3/8/6/3/8/a_med_WipeoutHD02.jpg.jpg
[It's really only by studying the HD snapshots that you appreciate the insane levels of detail in both ships and scenery.]
Then there's Photo Mode, which can be activated during the automatic replay at the end of each race. Tap the square button and you can skip from one ship to another, and save your own screenshots. The options are numerous - you change the exposure, saturation, lens focus and add effects such as depth of field or add motion blur to the track or ships. Shots are automatically saved at full 1920x1080 resolution in your console's Photo folder for easy sharing. The only downside is there's no way of rewinding or forwarding the replay from within the Photo Mode itself, so finding a specific moment to capture involves too much trial and error.
But in the end, it all comes down to impact. With its cool, clean design and mixture of chilled ambience and frantic action, WipEout has always been at the heart of the PlayStation brand - so it makes sense that all the stops have been pulled out to make this HD debut something truly stunning.
The extra effort has paid off. The result is a game that commands your attention, ruthlessly hauling your eyes into the flatscreen while tickling your brain with impeccable track design and spine-snapping speeds. Sackboy may be the new face of PlayStation, but the console just hasn't been the same without WipEout. It's great to have it back.

The folks at Studio Liverpool have been quiet about the long delay of WipEout HD. While all signs pointed to failed epilepsy tests, the team has been incredibly silent about the issue. Until now. Game director Tony Buckley said that "a lot of games" fail the epilepsy test. However, he questions the validity of the exams. "The hardware that actually does the test, it's quite ... subjective," he told GI.biz. "So, you know, it's difficult to pinpoint what the actual issues are, and whether they are actually issues, to be honest."
In spite of that, the team took the issue to heart and worked on it very seriously. "We certainly weren't going to take it lightly," he noted. The team was going to be uncompromising in the look they were going for and ultimately, it appears they've succeeded. "That was our worry, that the game would suddenly look poorer as a result of it, but no, it's all gone really well."

So glad I was able to buy Sony's 1080p 40w4000 set a couple of weeks ago. :)
What's the folder setup for transfering pictures to the PS3?
I know it's PS3 and then something else, just can't remember if it's PHOTO or PICTURE or whatever.
