Does anybody besides me find the hardened difficulty level really hard. Particularly when your waiting to get evacked with your commanding officer and the very end when your trying to get in to stop the nukes from destroying half the United States. Hardened mode seems frustratingly hard. Any comments grately appreciated.

Well you should put some spoiler tags in that post. lol

Which annoys me the most with the difficulty is that there is an infinite ammount of enemys till you reach another level part.

I beat it the first play through on hardened, but fuck Veteran. I'm stuck in the

TV station building

Normal difficulty was all the ass kicking I needed, personally, so I can't say I share you plight. Sorry dude.

I just beat this the other day.. What you have to do is enter the main room of the TV station and run along the right side of the room as fast as you can to the North wall. Then take out the few soldiers to your left and run in that direction until you see your final destination of the doorway on your right. Go into that little hallway. Then peek out and take out the soldiers that are fighting your men from behind until you get the checkpoint and your men open the door next to you to progress. Hope that helps.

I really enjoyed the AI's ability to launch swarms of cross-map grenades with pinpoint accuracy.

LOL, you think hardened is hard? Why dont you try Veteran buddy, like seriously...do veteran, i have no idea why your doing hardened >_>

But yea, No Fighting In The War Room was a BITCH till i figured out what i was doing wrong. Sometimes checkpoints appear, sometimes they dont. You just gotta be quick and beat the set time, if you dont, no checkpoint.

And to make you feel even worse and brag....i beat Mile High Club on Veteran!

BOO YA!

...and i beat the entire game on Vet too V_V

Wouldn't be surprised if he's telling the truth. I know a few people with 1000/1000 on the 360 version.

It's always the way. No matter how good you are at a game, there's always some damn kid who's 10 times better than you. ;)

Those ones were a pain on Hardened, so I can imagine. Should help prepare me for playing online though.

I'll have to give it another go, I was going left...

I beat it on hardened a little while ago. Might as well try veteran. If I can't hack it, that's all right. I accomplished something beating it on hardened. Sorry for putting this in the wrong section anyway.

it took me a while to beat Hardened, and Veteran takes way too much time and way too much caution. my little brother beat the game on veteran, though. or at least all but one or two levels.

Many have stated that Veteran mode is broken...
I have to admit the TV station section was ridiculous, because you have to use poor level design tricks to beat the stage on Veteran mode. The grenade accuracy combined with level design makes veteran almost unplayable, because you find yourself memorizing a specific path instead of using skill to complete levels. That's my 2 cents...

That's any game jacked up on it's higher and highest difficulty. God of War's God difficulty for example. You just have to cheese and cheese and cheese the quickest and most effective moves to succeed. Finesse is out of the equation all together.
