im going to be opening a game 10am-2pm EST this saturday to experiment with omega dawn. there will be all types of games feturing OMEGA DAWN.

Jax, I think you are doing a great service to our Warhawk players but unfortunately as I'm uni and am blocked, I can't participate however I'll be going home on 14th so just wanted to ask if you will continue opening servers for us?
And I love the Omega map (shame not many people play it), it's the only map where I don't hate the Zones mode.

This is about 1600hrs in GMT+1 (and 1500hrs in UTC) to 2000hrs...
Maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to make it... but don't count on it!

As long as there is CTF... Omega Dawn was made for that mode. Having a buddy hop in a tank with the flag only to swoop in and scoop them in the dropship is great.

The one thing that annoys me about CTF is how most of the opposing team will hang around the flag, just so that they can get loads of points recapturing it.
I thought playing the game was about having fun, not points. But what do I know eh? :shrug:

Go to the store, and click on "Download List"
That stores everything you've bought and downloaded. If I remember correctly, you can download all the things you've bought up to five times.

There's always a bunch assclown's whose definition of fun is getting a buttload of points instead of actually playing the game. It almost seems like the Arbiters aren't getting shit done in actuality.

Well, ever since the update they lowered the amount of points received when killing the flag carrier and saving the flag.....so if people are still under the impression it is a good source of many points, they are "teh r-tards." I like CTF because it requires more team play than any other mode. It also requires more strategy. Which in turn does make it more frustrating when playing with a bunch of n00bs.

The server name is usually PSINext. If there's a password, then it'll be posted in here when Jax sets it up.

other wise i will just reserve the aproprate number of buddy slots.
Ok I will try to be there even if I'm a total noob at this game :)

I got a network error and couldn't reconnect. Kept getting multiple errors. Failed and Initializing Network several times as well as at Downloading User Agreement and Processing Login. I could log into PSN go to the store and even come here and post, but it wouldn't for the life of me let me into warhawk. First session(6am PST) I launched from HOME and played for 4 hours and quit back into HOME with no issues, but that last session I didn't get to play at all really(took a short break, went to the store, etc.). Anywho, it was fun, not as fun as the wednesday meet, but fun nonetheless.
[EDIT] btw - who is mgs_fan from neogaf(do they post here)?

I'm starting a game now (psinext) since I didn't see anyone online. It will be Omega Dawn, but not the actual level (just one with dropships enabled on the other levels). All game modes in rotation.

Same evening, after posting stuff into "general whatever" I already have regrets for posting, at all :D
Yeah, Jax, I was "TheWretched", but I played player 2, because I let my cousins friend play at first, because I needed to shower earlier... so I had to join later etc...
And, I am upset about my "PS2-USB" pad adapter... It really is erronous (sp?)! Start and L3 are switched... So, when I get angry or somesuch, and press L3 slightly, the pause menu pops open... While f*cking midgame!!!

I just woke up.......anyone want to play in the next 6-8 hours post in here.
We don't have to host a server, we can join one(an official ranked one :shifty:).
With enough people(4-6) we could join and empty room and it would fill up rather quickly.

I am yet to learn the full extend of Warhawk flying^^ I trained hard to finally get the "Warhawk recruiting" badge... The first time, it didn't register (the "lobby" after the round told me, I got the badge, yet I wasn't award a higher rank... so I had to do it AGAIN^^)
I am Seargent now, and the next two ranks are "points only", as I already have the ribbons et al^^
