Can Anyone Else Not Connect to WFC?

Just last night I was surfing Wii Shop and playing Strikers online. However, today I cannot get online with Brawl, and I just did a connection test and everything checks out.

Are they just bogged down with tons of players? Anyone else with this problem?

Well, for me anyway......I played a lot of Mario Kart online but Nintendo's online system just infuriates me so much that I just can't do it, but for smash bros. I might make the exception

well...... the first connnection took FOREVER..... I think it has to assign you a friends code or something....

but after that it only takes about...oh...... 7 seconds to connect...... havn't tried in the last 6 hours though.

and keep in mind my Wii is directly next to my router....so I am sure that helps.

Ah, my router is in the other room. I wait for as long as it takes, but I was getting error messages earlier. May try again soon. But I know it isn't the router position because of the fact that just last night I was playing online with Strikers....and my tests worked today and whatnot.

I keep getting a 051030 code. My router is fine since my laptop connects OK still but the Wii just wont grab the signal. At first I suspected it was N's servers being bogged down but I think it's my Wii itself.

I plan to erase and re-enter my connection setting slater and see if that helps.

I connected fine, played about 4 quick brawls. The first two went nice and smooth, the second two were way too laggy and unbearable to play.

Jim, I've gotten that one as well, and also a 021000 code a think. I doubt it's your Wii, because I've gotten the same code with Brawl, but Strikers worked only the night before.

UPDATE: It was as I thought. First try today , I connect within seconds. Then.... I can't find anyone to play with.

It took me a second, but it's definitely on Nintendo's end. I can get online now because 1. Older people are at work and 2. Kiddies are at school (I'm on break). Although you'd think I could find SOME random person to play with.

Haha my bad. I was waiting to see if I could get it to work at all, and as of a few hrs I have. Played a couple of random matches, then Omega and I duked it out for about 90 min. Woo Woo.

either you make a match or they make a match.

there are two choices to pick from when online.
"With friends" or "with anyone"

^what sucks is that you just have to get lucky and be online at the same time..... or know the person well enough that you could call them up and say....hey get online now and start a room..... that kinda thing....

rather lame if you ask me....thats why I like something like xbox live where your always online and you cvan instantly messege people to ask if they want to play something.....

xbox live really is one of the best things in gaming right now.... and Nintendo needs to step up their....hehe....game...hehe

I am going online right now to enter that last friend codes....so far I have only played with my best friends becuase we called eachother......so if your reading this now...hop online.

Yeah, as much as I'm loving Brawl I can't say I'm not disappointed in the direction Nintendo took with this WiFi thing. The Dreamcast could do better than this.
