When is it Hammer Time?

What challenges do you think are ultimately worth using the hammers on?

I haven't used a hammer yet, and I haven't come across any challenges I find to be fully impossible yet. But the 10 KO's in Cruel Brawl might be the first one I choose to smash with a hammer.

(haha I doubt they decided to do it...but they should let you do a motion control of a Smash..so you can really get your frustration out on the challenge.)

When I saw the thread title I thought this was going to refer to the Hammer and/or Golden Hammer items.

And my response was going to be "never."

As for the challeneges, I haven't used any yet, but I haven't worked very hard on the challenges yet. i think i've probably unlocked about a third of them.

i used one on accident because i didn't know that's what it did. and then i used the other two for things that said beat something on very hard with all characters. i don't really care about unlocking anything besides the stages/levelmaker parts/characters though so i don't really care if i can't accomplish everything.

right now I'm only working on the characters and levels, but once I unlock all of those I'll start on the other stuff.

I WAS going to use one on boss rush on intense, but they don't let you...

I used one on 50 and 100 hour Brawls because I simply didn't feel like getting them, and I wanted to get the trophy for getting all the songs.

I also used one on 100 Man Brawl with every character because seriously, I don't have the patience.

I might use one on the 15 minute Brawl since I got screwed over and to look forward to trying it again.

I haven't decided on what I'm going to use my last one on.

I just found out you can't use a hammer on ANYTHING related to Boss Rush.

What the fuck? What was te point of the hammers if you can use them on some things but not others?

I was able to beat the 10 KO's in Cruel Brawl. It's really not as easy as the guy in the video even makes it look. I tried Kirby at first, figuring he would fly similar to Jigglypuff in that video, but then I ended up completing it with Pit. I'm glad I never have to do a Cruel Brawl again!

I'm debating on doing this one...basically due to patience. But if it turns out to be the only one left (besides a time challenge such as 100Hours) I'll just man up and do it instead of using a hammer. (Is there any reward except patting yourself on the back and bragging rights if you complete them all without the hammer)

I'm gonna keep working on the 15minute brawl....hell it at least is going against the time played for me...100 Hours is a LONG time. I might put it on whatever the Max time is for a match and just leave it on for that time while I just watch TV, movie, or do something else...just to crank the time up and save a hammer. But again, this will happen towards the last few challenges.

I have 15 challenges left. All that's left is collecting trophies/stickers, playing for an absurd amount of time or playing Boss Rush a buh-million times.

I dunno if I'm really going to persue the challenges anymore. I hate the boss rush mode and I can't use the hammers and the other things will probably do themselves in time.

Oh, and question. The "Collect Trophies for all Charactes" challenge. How the hell do I do that one?

You do just that. When you play as Zelda, for example, you'll have to play as Zelda AND Sheik. Samus and Zero Suit Samus, etc.

and Pokemon Trainer and each individual Pokemon.....all you have to do is be each different character when you beat Master Hand. You don't have to play as Zero Suit Samus every match, just at the moment when you beat Master Hand.

Quick question.....how do you switch from Samus...to Zero Suit Samus while playing?
