ideas for the next super smash

Here are my ideas on what should be inserted in the next super smash:

1) same 2d style, but cel-shaded (such as viewtiful joe)

2) Each character has his/her own adventure mode, through his/her world. The advernture mode will be more advance, it will be longer and after you finish your world you move onto the next world (of a different character)

3) There should be a main story (evil in the world, you choose a hero (not baddy) and u go through different worlds with the help of the hero of that world (co-op or computer) to defeat the evil.

4) New bosses and worlds will be created

5) Each character gets a huge library of movies and has the ability to custom which moves he/she wants. Obvioulsy each different attack(up a,etc.) will have its own roster of moves. If you like it can be that you can put whatever move you want on which ever kind of attack, BUT B ATTACKS CAN NOT BE USED TO SUBSTITUTE THE A ATTACKS.

6) deffinitly online

7) more character (Obvious) + create totally new characters

8) Viewtiful Joe should be added (but since it is coming on the ps2, i don't think that he will be added)

i think there are WAAAAY too many threads about this as it is, we need an entire forum dedicated to "new game speculation"

like the ideas though, especially the co-op thing.

u got some great ideas there. i'd like to see wario finally make it on there. so i guess waluigi should make it too. i also thought of skull kid and since samus is the only character from the metroid franchise, they should bring another from the franchise such as ridley or a non-boss space pirate or a live chozo similar to the chozo ghosts in MP but alive. and seeing how shiggy luvs pac-man, he should try to get permission to get pac-man on there. i'll post some more if i think of any that someone else hasnt said yet.

VJ is capcom's so it wouldn't have been on the next SSB even if it was still exclusive to Nintendo.

Luigi is almost exactly the same as Mario and Dr. Mario. They definately need to come up with waaaaaaay more moves for everyone.
As for new characters, I'd like to see Brick Road from Earthbound, like in his big Dungeon Man thing. I think that'd be amazing. Also characters like Poo, Ridley, Wart, Mouser, Dedede, Diddy Kong, Cranky Kong, and Peppy Hare (Peppy >>>>> Falco).

i think that they should remove all clones, or atleast give them new attacks.
+ ganondorf should have a sword and should have totally cool movies, that aren't like c.falcon

Yeah the graphics are fine the way they are. And i agree that they need to give each character their own unique moves. Roy is so much better than Marth so what is the point of putting him in?

I agree with everything Fishbone said other than cel shading. I'd like to see Wario and Diddy Kong, and take out every Pokemon except Pikachu.

Having Geno from SMRPG would the the coolest damn thing ever, but unfortunately the rights to him are owned by Square-Enix.

As for Roy being better than Marth, that isn't really true. I could go into details but I'll just say that for one-on-one battles, Marth is one of, if not the best in the game. Roy is better suited for attacking multiple opponents.

charizard: a lot of moves can be created for him,
1) flame thrower
2) fire ball
3) fly
4) etc.

by the way the best one vs. one character is shiek. she is amazing, she is too fast to do anything against and she has a lot of great combo's. If anyone has a good strategy on how to beat Shiek with either falco or fox, please post it, because i am dying to defeat my freind who uses shiek.

The only things I want to see in SSBO (3) are more characters, more arenas, more moves, better story mode, and obviously Online. NO cel-shaded though, ugh, that could possible ruin the game.

You may be better with Roy but Marth is far superior in almost everyway.
higher dmg with almost every attack
bigger "sweet spot"
more agile(sp?)

if you did not notice Roy sword is better when it connect by the middle so you have to be clause to make full dmg while marth use sword is better with the tip

so with roy you have to fight at really close range to do damage, so you have to be alot better than with Marth

I got the game since it came out..... I think i got a very big load of time to practice (hell I cant even beat my old record of 23 combo with young link and I try every day) and I won't change my mind on the subject Roy rules

First and foremost, I don't want to see any more clones. The characters should have their own moves.

Has anybody heard any actual plans about the next SSB though? I haven't even heard rumours about a next super smash bros. coming out any time soon..

I'm almost postive there isn't going to be a new SSb until N5.

Since I'm not going to be able to convince you, gigabowser666, Marth is better than Roy I will stop trying.
