View Full Version : DS and Dynasty Warriors
It was recently announced that Koei was to be one of the many new developers to support the Nintendo DS, and they've already revealed there first game. The super-popular Shin Sangoku Musou series, or Dynasty Warriors as you probably know it by, is coming to the DS. It is unknown if the game will be a port of a previous Dynasty Warriors game or a completely new title, but it's good news either way.

Isn't it kinda obvious? There's just a screen where the buttons would be and you just push on the screen and use it as a button.

There is a control pad people, and buttons, in addition to the touch screen, it doesn't only use the touch screen. I've never played the game, in fact i don't even know it's genre, but I've heard it's name several times so I'm glad, DS needs some strong suport.

Dynasty Warriors is basically a game when you run around a giant field and kill as many people as possible with various blades. It's completely bloodless, but still vey fun.
Gan Ning, Zhang Liao and Ma Chao are the sh!te.

Dynasty Warriors has always been a fun game, especially when there’s somebody else playing with you. But with each new one coming out, people complain that it doesn’t change as much as other sequels do. With various critics saying that the series had gotten stale and boring. Making a DW for the DS may just be a brilliant idea for Koei. By use of the Dual Screens, other factors can be put into the game to make it fresh and new. I’d really like to see if they could make the game’s multi-player feature include being able to see the other person’s character on the other screen. Can’t wait to see what they do with it.
