My 360 is now dead. :(


I can load the dashboard and play arcade games but disc games will not work. The screen freezes and goes into weird colors when I try. Can't call now either because those pricks are closed. I am sure that since it is not the rrod they will try to charge me to repair it too, well all it takes usually is a little talking and threat to buy a ps3 (which i will do soon anyways) and they should fix it for free.

Damnit though, was just getting really far in GTA and ready to play a ton of games and this shit happens. I can now sympathize with everyone that has had this shit happen to them.

Now unless my brother lets me borrow his 360 I am going to be bored off my ass for a few weeks.

That sucks man... there are some great games coming out this summer.... hope you get it fixed soon..... lol.....you don't want to be away from it too long......OG will pass your gamerscore.....haha

well now it is red ringing joy, so it should mean free repair.

Edit: yep free repair though 2-3 weeks, sucks.

my brother had rrod the same time as me. He voided his warranty trying to fix it but couldn't. So what he did was go to target, buy a arcade version and put his rrod console inside. He then sent his gf (who knew the plan) to return it and got his money back. Do that if you can't wait :-)

Yeah, gonna through this out..if your 360 starts fucking up just tell them you have the 3 RRoD. They'll have to fix it for free..


on the other hand looks like i don't have to much competition from the leaderboards..

Well got it back today, YAY right?

They fucked up the eject button where it doesn't work at all now and if i put a game in the only way for me to get it out is to use the media remote. So I called them and have to send it back in again now. Such bullshit......

LOL bummer man, but the same shit happened to me just a couple of months ago. Thank god I have a PS3 and Wii to keep me busy.

I do hope you get it back ASAP though and sorry to hear about the problems MS is causing you, ask them to send you a NEW one.
