Oblivion GOTY Help!

I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this, if not i'm sorry (move it or delet it pls).
Maybe some of you know about a bug in oblivion goty for ps3 that makes it impossible to get cure for vampirism. The only fix is to use a non-goty version to get the cure potion. I would greatly appreciate if someone with the non-goty US version of the game could use my save file in their ps3, deliver bloodgrass to Melisande (i'm at her house, you just have to deliver it, it's fast) and then send me back my save file.

I haven't played it in an age, but don't you have to go and collect a ton of Nirnroot to cure it?

Nah. It has nothing to do with Nirnroot. Is requires several ingredients, one of wich is bloodgrass. And The witch who makes the potions doesn't recognize i have them in my invetory.:whip:

the vampire disease is the game-breaking mechanic that made me sell it for something else. I got it way too early and thus was impossible for me to get rid of- or play with.

A nice guy from the official playstation3 forums used my save game to do the trick and sent me back the file. It worked perfectly :)

I tried looking for a save I could use that either fixed the either fixed the problem or still didn't get it on gamefaqs.com but the only save I found was from the very beginning of the game right after the training/sewer area. I asked for a save file in a couple of forums but I was ignored.

and that is how I became a troubled child and put a lot of laxatives in Bethesda's drinking water.

I quit playing when I became a vampire because that shit really made me angry. I hadn't come into contact with any vampires knowingly and I'm not going to go through all that trouble to get the potion.

Well Z i'm sorry for you :\ . The guys at boardsus.playstation.com were really helpfull to me and got the potion with my save file for me. I didn't want to use someone else save file :P
