View Full Version : Summer Plans?

As usual, my schedule is packed with things that are not very fun, summer classes and work. On the bright side Autox season started last week, so at least on the weekends I will be having a blast, especially with the new car. If things work out I will be visiting Tennessee/ North Carolina late June for some camping and get a chance to drive on Deal's Gap/ Tail of the Dragon. I hear the mountains are beautiful to drive.
I think most of are out of school or close to it, so what's everyone doing this summer?
My semester ends in about four weeks..
I'm going to be going to Italy for a week to attend my older brother's wedding..
Beyond that, I'm afraid my Summer's looking pretty boring.
I plan on working a lot probably at least 50 hrs a week. I really need to save up a lot of money this summer since next semester I will be transferring to a university and not living at home anymore. Which will be nice but I'm really not looking forward to the expenses that come along with not living with my parents.

I'm hoping to get hired at Taco Bell for the summer. I'm living at college in my apartment that I'm moving into on Friday, and besides work, I plan on playing a lot of softball. A bunch of my friends and I came up with a team so we're playing in a local men's league.

Just working. I have to take at least one week of holiday though which kinda sucks because I really don't have any plans. But I will still have 3 weeks paid vacation for whenever I want.
Get laid lots and enjoy the outdoors as much as possible.
I have one class during may which should be easy so i'll mostly be laying by the pool. June, July, and Aug. I'm heading to Kenya and working at the Embassy there. I hope so see some badass animals.

I'm going to hang out in Texas a bunch. Beyond that, haven't really thought about the rest of the summer.

Best idea ever. Make sure to work the night shift so you can steal all the food at the end of the day since it gets thrown out anyway.

I think I'm going to be working days for the most part. That's what I prefer though, because at McDonalds, they'd just schedule me for any time in the day they wanted.

I don't think there's anything as good as what I was going to do this summer, but I don't have the money.
I'll either be concentrating on my parkour training in Brisbane or doing heaps of work in Roma while doing parkour in my spare time.
If in Brisbane hopefully my continued throwing resumes at people will result in more work.

Yeah. It gets "thrown out" at the end of the day. Into the next days supply.
And Maybe chilling with the Dude at the Tail of the Dragon in NC.
Other than that, working, with an occasional weekend trip to Atlanta for fun.

Working. Can't complain though, as the benefits of the job are nice.(i.e., get to see concerts for free. Working at a bar/music venue/club has it's perks.)
That and find a new apartment.

Thinking about going couch surfing, I've always wanted to and now is probably my best chance to do so.
Other then that I'll probably travel abroad somewhere...

I'll be working at an engineering firm hopefully. If I get the job that I applied for, I may be spending a few weeks at a landfill taking measurements. Is it sad that I'm excited about working at a landfill?
Besides that, I'm seeing Pearl Jam in South Carolina and hopefully going to Cedar Point for a few days with some of my buddies.
I'm taking a class between mid-July and early August, just so I can boost my credits some (I would have to wait until the next spring semester to take this class, which is a class I need to take right now). Outside of that, I've got two weeks of paid vacation, one in June and one in August. I plan on going to Six Flags Great America a few times over the summer, preferrably during my paid vacations. I'd like to make a trip up to Wisconsin Dells, but I don't think I would be able to afford it. I plan on buying a new computer over the summer because I'm in desperate need one of. Though I'm not keen on owning a PC using Windows Vista.
But yeah, I'll probably be working quite a bit for the first part of the summer and I'll probably start going to sleep around 3 AM every night. It'll be a pretty typical summer, really.

I'll be working in town for the first time in a little over a year. So I'm basically planning on slacking off as much as possible, partying, BBQing, making up for time missed with friends and family, partying, and plotting the demise of my enemies (liberals).
