So this (http://www.theonering.net/torwp/2008/05/08/28812-what-is-the-lord-of-the-rings-conquest-pandemic-studios-eric-%e2%80%9cgiz%e2%80%9d-gewirtz-tells-us-about-it/#more-28812) is what EA has been up to with the Lord of the Rings IP since The White Council was canceled. What are PSI's thoughts on a Pandemic-made LotR game?

Battlefront is a bad series man. I didn't enjoy those titles at all because they weren't nearly as good as they should have been. I enjoyed the LotR movies, but never played the games. =/

Hm i liked Battlefront 1 mainly because of the Splitscreen mode, just like KILLZONE....
looks very good and seems to be intense and filled with a lot. multiplayer, online the EA works.
personally, I hate fairytale fantasy games so i won't play this, but I am impressed with it.

Looks interesting. Be good to fight in middle earth again though. I'll keep an eye on this game for now.

Looks alright and Pandemic makes fun games, but I can see the problem here (as I knew CreativeWriter would :-p) -- EA is missing a huge opportunity if they don't bring back White Council or make something like it.
what was WC like? they already have a LotR MMO, stategy and now this.

I liked SW battlefront, so I guess I'll at least give this one a rent.

All that really mattered with the White Council was the fact that we were going to see Rivendell, Mordor etc in full shiny glory... we may now never know this :'(
