Me and my buddy who worked on Sanctuary are working on another book in the meantime. Tentatively titled Iconoclasm, here's the main character.
The basics are a group of elemental users (Fire, Water, Wood, Earth, Metal) are fighting to stop the end of the world. But the world isn't going to end at some point, they're living it. It's happening all around them, and what happens next is anyone's guess (well, as far as they're concerned). The gun that Pyotr wields is an ancient, powerful weapon that exists unto itself, a totem unto itself. It has always existed, and no one knows who or what made it, if at all. It is, somehow, at the center of it all.
here's a poem brian wrote, that I particularly like, that deals with some of the themes in the story (Which is still being fleshed out).
*poem removed at Brian's request cuz it's not done, has issue with it* :(
