Why dont they just release it on PSN, with gamesharing, Matt buys it and everything would be fine.

The video looks great, but if they do release it over here. (or in PAL) I hope they polish it more. The lag and the fps are disappointing. :(

To me, it just seems like one of those kind of games that would never be popular outside of Japan. From what I've seen, I would love to get it, but I get the feeling that it wouldn't be financially viable for them to release it anywhere else, because the sales would probably be pretty poor.

Well, if they released it over PSN, there wouldn't be much of an investment to put forth. Just slap it on the server and let it sell.

Was it released on PSN in Japan? If so, then I guess the only costs would be for the localisation.

I just don't see the point of discussing sales of a single title in a new thread when there are two threads where it would be relevant to do so. Oh, and the game isn't titled Afrika anymore, BTW.

Anyway, 40k sales aren't all that great. I don't think it'll be profitable unless / even if they make it at least downloadable in western European stores.

Considering the number of PS3's over in Japan, the figures aren't that bad. I just can't see it converting to sales over here. It just seems like one of those games that only the Japanese, and weird people like me would buy.

I guess that really depends on how many sounds (and what quality) and animals there are in the game.

And how many terrain and flora designs too.

LOL everytime i take a quick glace at the title i keep thinking Hanna Montanna :shifty:

Anyway i checked out the first 10 mins of this game on Gamersyde. Pretty...good looking i guess? But whats the point in the game? Just a real life-wish you could be there but your not-safari exploration game?
