IL-2 for consoles?

I randomly searched for IL-2 Sturmovik, a flight simulator which is teh awesomeness pwnage game (to say it in internetish).
And i found this:

Now i came a little, but im worried that ive never heard from this.
Does anyone know more?
I always wanted an IL-2 for consoles, this is like one of my biggest dreams if they make the controls good.

Its THE flying game.
Guys really, this must get attention, i dont want to loose this like C&C: RA3.
I want this game soooo long for PS3, way before the console itself was released.
I never played a better flight sim as IL-2 on PC and the PS3 gives so much possibilitys.
Mods, install, better streaming from the BD and support for Joysticks and keyboards.
PLEASE CARE FOR THIS GAME im BEGGING you!

In the Gamespot hands-on of the 360 version they said the control sheme is like in Blazing Angels (right stick rudder and speed, left stick plane control) and if you switch sim mode on, the game is locked to the cockpit view and theres no HUD.
I think it will be a bit more arcadey than the PC game, but if i look at the trailer, it doesnt seem chaotic like BA and way more realistic than Secret Weapons over Normandy or Heroes of the Pacific (both VERY dissapointing).
I hope you can make it just as realistic from the plane behaviour as the PC game. :worthy:
