It's probably going to be a mix of Doom, Prey, and Quake with some Duke Nukem tid bits thrown in. I think this will get an average score of a 75%...just a prediction. No matter though I'm sure it'll be one of the best selling games of all time, and only because it was Vaporware.

Agreed, but the handful of classic Duke fans like myself will probably pick it up just because it's Duke. Other than that, it's doubtful that very many gamers would even consider it, and its history as vaporware surely hasn't built any consumer confidence around it.

I'll get the game, whenever they release it three days prior to the world's end. I don't have lofty expectations of it, of course, really expecting it to be very similar to Duke Nukem 3D but with a facelift, but it's Duke Nukem so I just can't help but pick it up.

I used to be a Duke Nukem fan in the late 90's. Duke 3D and Warcraft 2 were loaded up in our High School computer labs (yes, me and another friend were responsible for them being there) and we used to play networked games all the time back in the day. Since then, I just can't get back into the random kicking alien ass for blowing up my ride.

This reminds me of TF 2. It was vaporware for the longest time. Althrough out my freshmen year in college, we played TFC almost every night. We were all looking forward to the TF 2 release, but it just never came. Once Valve announced its return and that it would be bundled in the Orange Box, I knew it instantly had to pick it up. Maybe the same feeling will come once Duke Forever gets an official release date.
