The MGS4 'Did you know?'

Ok, so some if this stuff may well have been noted in the official thread, but theres a few of us still scared to go in there (damn game hasn't arrived yet)

So, i wanted to compile a list of cool things you can do in MGS4 that others just may not have known. Considering some of you must be on second play through by now, this can just be a list of extra stuff you can explore and try to keep the game still insanely fun

Such as, press R2 during the opening video for a suprise (im being vague just incase someone doesn't want to know what happens)


also, please post spoiler tags around something that makes note of content that others might not want to know about

so what do you think, is the thread a good idea?

I'm re-playing it mainly because I've missed the up skirt shot of Naomi.

There is a secret L1 apparently that you press when Snake "drops" his ciggie and looks up, you can press L1 to get a nice upskirt shot, yay! :heybaby:

I doubt I'll ever make Big Boss myself... I am on my second playthru and try to find the best spots to sneak, but it is nigh on impossible to do that all in less than 5hrs

Well i got "fox" on extreme.

and thats finish it in under 6 hours. Time ended up being 5Hrs and 46 mins XD but i got spotted 4 times -.-

In MGS1, 2 and 3 there were so many nice and easy alternate ways to get the best items in the game. Like catch the Tsuchinoko, or just pick up the extra costumes and whatnot.

It's gonna be ***king hard to get the Patriot Assault Weapon this time around....
