got tired of guys transforming into demons to fight demons etc, and blah blah blah, so I made a guy who calls upon heaven's angels to assist him in battle. A crusader with divine right if you will...He's on a mission from God.
First one is web page friendly, the 2nd is larger (still only 50% actual 'canvas' size)

I'd call on that angel for a lot more than fighting :-p
Looks really nice (as always), but the warriors face looks a bit awkward because it doesn't look like he's got a chin. That's my only beef with it.

Very nice, noticed you decided not to go with the more mechanical motif I saw in the earlier sketch

I'm a college graduate with a fine arts degree. Majored in illustration. Been drawing forever, but, I was formally trained.

I was always amazed at some of the work that people in my high school were able to put out.
Some pictures just left out in front of some of the art classes back then... some were just flat out amazing. Some were those crazy artsy style, and others looked flat out photographic.
It was just even more amazing in that environment because you get an impression of how talented and dedicated people can make things so amazing, and it especially hits you because you flat out know you can't do something similar.

First Image: I like this one just because how the angel looks pretty human-like and she'd probably do all the healing, lol. The guy's cross seemed a bit out of place when it's up close.
2nd Image: Now that's a fucking tank and I like this best. Just because it fits the main character more(AKA yourself :D).
Are you like having 2 angels? One defense and offense?
I'm just saying this cuz it would be good based for a video game/mmo

Most of my concept art is skewed to games. He'd have a few different angels assisting him. On for healing, one for defense, a couple different combat ones, on to carry him (assisted flight) across large gaps or to unreachable heights.... that kinda thing.
