Is it just me, or is nintendo doing everything the fans want in online gaming(animal crossing online and such for free possibly) and things like voice chat for the Ds instead of the cube...now they need to make it hook up the the gc and make it go online wirelessly for free...a dream I don't think will happen...
What do you guys think...is Ds the GC antidote or not...take in to consideration Realistic Zelda...

It would be nice if you could use the ds as a thing to hook into the cube for wirelessplay.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "antidote to the GC," but I think the DS is definately a HUGE step in the right direction. I still can't get over it all...the screenshots, the features, the developers' reactions...this thing is going to be much better than anyone thought it could be.
The GC also has a LOT of nice showings so far, Zelda obviously being the biggest one, hopefully enough to sell a lot more Cubes. At this rate it's impossible for GC to overtake PS2, but hopefully if Nintendo keeps this up the next generation will significantly lessen the gap between Sony and Nintendo.

Soon after the video came out for Zelda I saw at least three people over at the Team X-Box forum say how they wanted to get a GC just for that game. And I was just browsing. I don't even go there very often so there could have been more positive responses then I saw. It was funny since in the past few months a few people around here were saying how they might not go with Nintendo next generation. I think were all surprised and glad to see Nintendo make such a major shift in the right direction. They've been slowly doing it for a few years now but with the recent events it seems to have sped up now. Competition seems to be giving Nintendo the initiative to work just a bit harder especially in the handheld market. I'm still waiting to hear on Mario 128 though. There's still two days left.
