a couple of years ago or so, MGS4 creators mention a new weapon added to the game. they didn't give out its name and only referred to it as XXXX (or OOOO if the Japs use that instead of an 'X' for anonymity). the excitement was that seeing how it worked or its effect, tsome members of the team said "now that's next gen!". this could be a real-world weapon or a fictional one. reagrdless, I want to know what it is?

anyone else remember something about that? I want to see what got people working on a project such as MGS4 so excited.

nah, it was actually a weapon. they were exited about the FX of how the weapon worked. they also said it was a real-world weapon and it was relatively new- thus not many games may done it before.

We're testing the OOOO System for MGS4. We've made it available as a utility application on our computer. People who heard about it gathered around Matsui-kun.

okay, that doesn't sound like it has to be a weapon. if it is the octosuit I'll be disappointed since although it is very cool and unique, I thought by the time of this OOOO news, the suit was already known. wasn't it?

I also remembered and wondered about this after I beat it. I really don't know what it could have been other than something related to Octocamo.
