the coalition forcers have lost more men from friendly fire then from actually fighting with the Iraqi army
WTF is going on??? how could the USA shoot down a Brtish plane with a patriot missle???

Yes, and it could also have been something as simple as... the plane didn't recieve communication from the air traffic controller or the plane didn't identify itself... in which case it would have been considered an enemy plane and defense measures would have been taken.
We won't know until they tell us what happened. Besides, it's not like Britain has been flying helicopters into each other all week... I'm sure it was completely the US's fault this time.

im curious... How many of you even are aware that australia has troops over there?
cause ive been watching CNN, BBC, NBC and i havnt heard australian troops mentioned once

They have around 2,000 troops at Umm Qasr, and they also captured an Iraqi ship with 130+ mines; we know.
