Will Microsoft make it in the gameing world?

Do you think they can make it? Even though their system is good, it's composed like a computer. So will all systems become computers?

its not a computer!! Even the ps2 is getting a hard drive. Whats so much of a computer about xbox besides the fact its made by microsoft? People just cant look past the name.

I think they will make it because they are so loaded, they wont be on top but they will survive. If they didnt have those extra billions lying around they would have failed misserably already. They are just losing too much on every consol and not making enough on software.

Of course they will make it. With good games already out, and good games coming out, and with M$'s backing, it will make it quite easily.

I dunno about anywhere else but it's going very well in Australia at the moment... Almost up there with PS2.

Microsoft made a pretty good system in my opinion (but i don't like the fact that it is basically a computer). I think they will make it.... but i think PS2 and GC will do better.

Msoft will have a few more systems but in the end there will always be Nintendo and Sony. As for Xbox 2, can't they get a little more creative with names? I don't mind Playstation 2, but Xbox 2? It just doesn't sound right.

All videogames are computer. it's made from a computer, games are made on a computer so look at consoles as strictly blank computers which need software to work.Xbox will make regardless because they have money coming in from other industries. same as nintendo and Sony.

Instead of XBOX 2 they could call it YBOX? (X Y Z). I don't know. :uhh:

I think that the 'X' in "XBOX" stands for Microsoft, so they

probably wouldn't get rid of that.

But Cube, is already taken, so they would have to use square I guess?
