That's not a confirmed price in ANY way, that's their estimate, they just want people to be able to pre-order ASAP. The 200 is because they are aware that's the most expensive the system could possibly be sold for, so don't look at it as the price, just EB Games quick to make money. If PSP were coming out this year it'd already be there as well, although there's a good chance it will be on soon.

Online retailers always use the highest end so that if the price comes down befroe launch, they can send them a refund or a credit....If it were too low, they'd have to get a hold of all of them and ask for more money.
EB had the PS2 pegged at almost $550.00 the first week of it being on site.

You mean PSP. Major price difference. DS here I come. I hope the price ends up $200 canadian. $260 Canadian is getting a little high for a handheld.

Crap if its 200$ then you can take any idea of the DS being a huge success, it is exactly like the price of the cube when it was first released, this is unbelievable.

Wow, I don't think I have $260 to spend on it...hopefully this is just the high-end price, but I'm not so sure. If Nintendo can't get their hands on LCD screens without paying more for them, then $199.99 USD seems pretty accurate...

I assumed that it would be sold or 150, and although it's still just as likely, I'd still buy it at 200 dollars. Actually, I'd probably even pay more for it. Buying it at the suggested price now would be well worth the cash. The features and games have me hooked 100%. I'm not saying that it wouldn't be great if it were lower, but I'd still purcase it either way.

Like it was said. EBgames ect always has the highest possible price. It should be lower.
