View Full Version : So...
Well....I really want a bike! I know it'll be at least a year before I even begin getting serious about getting one, I have however begun looking around at bikes that I could see myself getting into. Being a Honda fanboy, I love the new CBR-600 but at 10k for a first bike and it being a supersport, eh don't want to die or spend that much. The rest of Honda's lineup just doesnt appeal to me from a styleing stand point. So I am currently in love with this:

Kawasaki Ninja 250. Its decently light at ~350 lbs, gets 60 mpg, mid 7's to sixty, and 4k! Everything I've read about it so far says that its a fantastic bike regaurdless of price. I want!
So yea, thats my rant :D
Yeah one of my friends has ninja and its an excellent bike, especially for a first bike. I'm not a fan of the rockets my self they're too uncomfortable in my opinion. I'm more a cruiser fan and hope to own a Victory Vegas 8-ball one day.

I really don't know anything about bikes but that one looks kinda cool. Kinda slow though for a bike.

Oh yea, its a lot of show without much go =/ But, as a new rider it seems just about perfect for me as its not that slow, looks great, and by everything I've read, its a real pleasure to drive, and its cheap. I want it :(

Although I'm not much of a cruiser fan, that Victory looks pretty damn badass!

It'll still beat any car, any day.
Slow for a bike is still fast enough for me.

Yeh, ive wanted one too, but my parents would kill me, and on local roads theres always the possibility of death.
Still, i'd like to have one one day (to supplement my car though, not to replace it).

ive got an suzuki cruiser. an 800. bought it brand new as my first bike. the 250 is nice as a first bike but dont forget your spending 4 grand on it and you wont be riding it long (you WILL want something bigger) and you wont get shit for trade in or for sale.
