This movie in HD = Meh.

Too dark to appreciate HD although the 'tunnel of doom' (as I named it) scene will be awesome.
Boxes look OK and this ofcourse is a definite buy.

had it on preorder a few days

£14.99 from play.com with art cards (we dont get a batbike =[ ) which is quite cheap considering a bluray can run you about £25-30 over here

december 8th is oh so far away

Did you see this movie in IMAX? The cinematography in the Dark Knight is truly something else, this movie will be the best-looking Blu Ray, not a doubt in my mind.

I'm bummed there's no commentary track though :(

The scenes that were shot with IMAX cameras, (they took up the whole screen) were fucking incredible.

Agreed. Ill probably get whatever gets me the most behind the scenes footage, and nothing more. Thats what i want to see the most. The making of this incredible movie.

After looking over at the link, i have made up my mind that i wont be purchasing the deluxe edition and opting for the regular ole' special edition.

Hmm December 9th... I'll look into getting this near it's release along with starting up a little more of my BD library which has no titles so far. >.>

I think I'll go for getting this and Casino Royale in December.
