Just started using Tversity, because I want to stream all of my music from here onto my PS3. I haven't had a problem with that, but I seem to be having a problem with videos.

When I go to add a folder full of videos into my library, I get this message:

Pathname "C:\blahblahblahblah" does not exist or is not currently accessible.

If this is a mapped network drive or a UNC pathname, you will need to change the log-on account of the Tversity service to some user with administrator rights

I'm logged in on the only account on this laptop, which should be the admin account surely?

Any suggestions?

Edit: I tried moving the files to the same drive as my music and uploading them from there, but I get the same error message.

why not use the media sharing in windows media? you dont need wmp to be running for the media server to work and imo it works really well

All of my music is in .m4a format, which I don't think WMP will play (or maybe it does, I dunno!), but I guess I can use WMP to stream my videos.

Have you tried turning it off and on again (both PC and Tversity)?

If so, is there a faulty file inside your video directory? Have you tried another directory with maybe only 1 file or so inside?

Do you use Vista/XP with multiple users and the files are in another persons directory? Is it a compressed directory? Have you tried reinstalling Tversity?

... many more questions^^

Mine works, so I dunno

I've tried restarting my PC and the program, adding individual files from the folder. I'm on Vista, I'm the only user on here, and the files aren't compressed.

Since first posting this, my PS3 has also stopped detecting the media server, so I'm gonna try reinstalling.

Edit: Reinstalling seems to have done the trick. My PS3 finds the server now, and I was able to add my videos :)
