RJJ must have had a bad night or something because that is not like him at all.
He used to play for the Jacksonville Barricudas USBL and was MVP of the championship game and later that same night KO'd a guy in a championship fight. For him to go down by TKO in round 2 tells me something was wrong with him.

Nothing was wrong with him. Why dont you give credit to the man whos been looking and training to beat Roy for 20 years? Last time RJJ and Antonio Tarver fought, He was in way worse shape then he ever was, he had just been fluctuating between lightheavyweight and heavyweight. He was not at his best and he won by a questionable decision. This time Roy was in perfect condition, he trained specifically for this fight, but the determination of AT perservered. He delivered a crushing left that ended Roy Jones Reign. Simple as that. Too many people have been babying Roy Jones and making excuses for him, its time someone gives credit to Antonio Tarver, who in my view should have won the first fight as well.
I was so happy that Roy was KOed. His managers and promoters always find him the easiest fights. He couldn't duck this one, and he payed the price. It was great.

This was Part Deux Tavis, A sequel to the first fight which Tarver should have won without a doubt had it not been for a really crooked decision.

I saw the fight both of them actually, and Jones WON the first fight. Tarver is a quality fighter but he did land a lucky ass punch, shit was perfect, no more no less. I'd pick Roy Jones ten times before I'd pick tarver, who also is a media whore, its sick

You thought it was a lucky punch, yet Jim Lampley, Larry Merchant, Emanuel Stewart AND Roy Jones JR. Didn't think so...hmmm

i completely agree with that statement.
i have to give credit when credit is due, and RJJ is great-great fighter. for him to go down so early, despite heavy training by his competitor or not, indicates something is wrong with him.

Read my response to Viper's statement. Nothing was wrong with him, Even Roy Jones admitted he was knowcked out legitimately.
Give it a rest, Roy lost, Tarver is champ.
