Bryan Fuller is awaiting word of his fate. And still it won't come.

Fuller is executive producer of "Pushing Daisies," ABC's sophomore drama that has for weeks been a prime cancellation target. As the TV industry buzzes with rumors about the health of "Daisies" and other endangered series -- a typical rite of November -- Fuller is getting frustrated.

"Every day we're hearing that we're canceled and then we hear that we're not," Fuller said Thursday, as the crew wrapped production on the final episode in the series' current order. "It's all rumors. Nothing official at all. We are in radio-silence land."

As that section of the article stated, this rumor has been in circulation on the internet for quite some time now, and I'm starting to believe it may hold some validity.

It seems that any show Bryan Fuller manages to produce/write/direct for crashes and burns into television oblivion, and it seems Pushing Daisies is the next show in line to be axed.

I agree, the show has definitely fallen off a bit in terms of plot..

gonna be pissed if they cancel it!

Pushing Daisies has a pretty strong fanbase, so you're definitely not going to be alone on that.

I feel for you.

I didn't like this show at all, but I gave it a try because I was a huge fan of Dead Like Me, which I caught from day one. There is a straight-to-DVD movie of it coming out in Feb.09, but no Mandy Patinkin (Rube) sucks.. also they switched Daisy.

Bryan Fuller also created Dead Like Me, so you have my support PD fans.

The (apparent) truth is (about his projects crashing and burning), Bryan Fuller is an open homosexual, and spoke himself about discrimination thrust upon him by people above him. Perhaps he defends himself, and they fight back by crushing his career.

The sole reason I was interested in Pushing Daisies was because I loved Dead Like Me, and I knew more or less I'd probably get the same level of quality produced by him; it's a shame that there may be people trying to crush his talent.

It's been officially cancelled now i believe... the season ends on a cliff hanger... and they're thinking of doing comic books (DC Comics) and maybe a movie..... Sounds annoying!!

Kind of reminds me of Arrested Development.

Not the show itself, just the fact that it is a popular show that is going to be canceled.

Look at it this way: the show failed to decline and lose its quality. View that as a success.

TV shows are so shitty these days, its sad that the moderately good ones can't even survive the axe.
