Two New Transformers Confirmed

US, September 24, 2008 - Two more additions to the roster of new Giant F***ing Robots in Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen have been revealed.

IESB points out an article at Transformers World 2005 that claims the "Hasbro Licensing Summit 2008 at Malaysia Kuala Lumpur has revealed the identity of the Chevy Corvette as Sideswipe! The second revelation is confirmation of Ravage in Revenge of the Fallen. Ravage is described as having a very raw beast mode."

TFW2005 also reports that the trade show confirmed earlier reports that Devastator will be in the sequel and that Megatron will be back but this time in the form of a tank.

Jalopnik has posted more photos of Sideswipe's auto form, the Corvette Centennial. The site also posted set photos of the Bumblebee Chevy Camaro, which they say sports a "newly tarted-up aftermarket look."

Devastator Construction Vehicles Revealed?

TFW2005 is reporting that their Transformers 2 inside source has revealed the seven vehicles that are the alt modes of the robots that merge to form Devastator.

I grew up watching the Transformers. I have the first few seasons on DVD. I think the first movie sucked. But I own it anyway. Why? Because it's the frikkin Transformers.....and Megan Fox.

I did follow the first season of US Transformers but I do prefer the japanese ones. I find them more stylish in a way.
I also think that there is a Movie planned for Voltron Force. I really liked transformers 1 excepted Shia Labeouf in there lol. The battle sequences were too short too between the Autobots and the Decepticons.

I love the Transformers. I grew up watching the originals. That is one of my all-time top 10 shows. I have a box set of every episode of every season, along with Transformers:The Movie, the original cartoon with Omnicron.

I liked the first live movie. I thought Bay was going to ruin it, but I think he did a good job bringing them to life. Sure, it had it's cheesy moments, but if you look past the crap, it was a good movie.

I'm looking forward to the new one. I always liked Starscream more than Megatron. Plus, who doesn't want more Megan Fox?

Activision has updated it's website for Transformers The Game with the first images of The Twins in their robot modes. An M&M package confirmed that the Chevy Beat (Skids) and Chevy Trax (name still unknown, Mudflap new rumor) were the alt modes of the Twins but this is the first good look at their robot modes which show a lot of similarities but they seem to be fraternal rather then identical twins. I think the image is from the game rather then from ILM (but probably based on their model) so its possible the final movie design could be futher modified. Something about their post and design that makes me think these are going to be hyper playful characters

I read somewhere that the Audi is a decepticon that was not represented in the first film, but who knows.

But speaking of Devastator, how do they intend to implement him? Optimus killed Bonecrusher in the first one, and they referred to Brawl incorrectly as Devastator, who was also killed. This is why people hate movie adaptations of things that were loved as children, fuck Michael Bay.

And I was looking for some hot pics of Ms. Fox (inspired by the above pic), when I came across this, "Is both a fan of comic books and video games." I think I just came, just when you thought that she couldn't be any hotter.

So what do we see (and probably missing much):

- Fireballs hitting a battle fleet (possible incoming Decepticon protoforms?)
- Shia and co looking very "oh s$@#!" at things
- A very big Transformer that looks exactly like the leaked Terex RH400 toy including the head, attacking the army.(Explains some of what was shot at Bethlehem, PA)
- Ravage, which matches the leaked design, looking creepy and dangerous.
- Decepticon Audi R8 (possibly Barricade) jumping out a building and then tumbling into vehicle mode.
- Behind the Audi, just for a brief second, can see three Transformers jumping down (picture below), Arcee perhaps?
- Starscream possibly getting revenge on Sam or one part is Starscream and the next is the claw of Megatron.
- Optimus Prime getting hit hard by somebody.
- The Terex RH400 trashing a bridge as Optimus jumps on him. (Explains the Queensway Bridge filming and explosions.)

Overall, as teasers go, very bad ass. Can't wait for the full length trailer coming on 2/14. Despite the RH400 TF in the trailer

Here are some key points in the video that I suggest taking a closer look at. I've provided the times at which some of newer ones occur, and my own thoughts as well).
- The beginning opens up in France (notice the Eiffel tower in the background) and two protoforms are seen falling out of the sky (in broad daylight no less) and one strikes a building.
- Switches to show the pyramids and aircraft carrier-It then looks like there may be a total of 4? protoforms landing in Egypt.
- Then we go back to scene of the aircraft carrier, which is sunk by more protoforms (if I counted 6 in this shot, that would make a grand total of 12 protoforms causing some kind of destruction, whether intended or not.)
- At 0:55 you can very clearly see one of the three Arcee cars that is chasing the Audi that just jumped through a building. (It looks to be a purple bike to me, but that could just be the light. And Boo was right; it does look like she's some type of unicycle, or at least a third of her robot form.)-We get to see a semi-full transformation for Devastator (the RH-400) and Bay wasn't lying when he said that thing was huge!-Sam again tells his dad to run, but then Ron gives his own idea of what they should do.
- At 1:18 you see Sam taking apart a mechanical bug, though I don't know exactly what type (something with wings. I also thought I saw a miniature satellite on there, but not sure)
- At 1:28 we finally see Bumblebee for the first time. He's transforming in what looks like the Witwicky's backyard in plain view of Sam's dad in broad daylight. He then shoots at something off screen.
- At 1:33 we get the first notice of Scorpinok in Egypt it looks like, jumping at another robot. Can't tell who at this point. But very pointy edges. Starscream? The Audi? Jetfire?
- 1:38. I think that this is our first very distorted but nonetheless glimpse of what the Fallen looks like. I'm only saying that because numerous spots on the body look like they're glowing red (indication of flames?)
- Much of the rest has already been shown, except for starting at 1:47, which gives us a different angle on Optimus approaching Devastator. You can see him sliding a few seconds later much like he did when fighting Bonecrusher on the highway in the first movie. All in all, I think this whets the appetite pretty nicely for TF fans. Sorry about the quality and the shakiness of the video.

Well it's certainly not perfect. There are questions and things we don't know like When did Bumblee arrive on Earth ? They should have also focused more on the events of the Cybertronian war and homeworld.
And yeah Shia's role was not the really focus of the movie even if he was kind of a key character. But The fights wee too short as well ( Bonecrusher vs Prime ).

In This one they will make things bigger and yeah I hope they will put a better story but the title says it all.

There about there are around 40 robots in this sequel. looking forward to the FX above everyting else.

I concur, wasn't anything spectacular, but as a Transformers fan, I found it enjoyable, nothing spectacular though. The fact that they misnamed Brawl as Devastator, and killed Bonecrusher, and are still about to include Devastator in the new one, is stuff that really pisses me off. As well as just making Megatron a jet...lame.

As far as Megan Fox, she's just god a slammin hot bod, that's why she's hot. And I am growing tired of Shia's character, he's the same person in every movie.

But hey, after GI Joe, I'm sure you'll be wishing for more Transformers...
