Everything I want a sequel to would end up just pissing me off. Few sequels ever live up to the greatness of the originals .

Then lets rename the thread to 'What movie do you want to come back provided its really awesome and up to scratch?'

I would say Ghostbusters would be cool. Also a Pirates of the Caribbean with just Jack Sparrow and Gibbs on a new adventure with new characters, maybe with Barbossa also because he's awesome, but it might be hard to fit him in storywise maybe. Anyway. As long as stupid Elizabeth Swan isnt there being lame.

Hmm.

I know there are quite a few Ive forgotten, maybe Ill remember later.

I always wanted Ghostbusters III.

And, despite knowing it'll be horrible, I can't wait for Jurrasic Park IV to get out of development hell and into cinemas.

I don't want anything brought back. Remakes and late sequels is just pure laziness on the part of the directors/writers/whoever.

99% of these films are total trash. I would much rather see something new.

Considering that every franchise I've wished a sequel or remake for has got one, and has subsequently been destroyed, I'm gonna take a pass on that.

Be careful what you wish for!

Speaking of sequels i'm glad they made one more Rocky movie after the fifth one to make a respectable ending for the series.

LOL, Sly looked like he was dying for most of the film

After the last Rambo, I wouldn't mind seeing another R rated movie.

I think it would be interesting to see a sequel to 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off'.

And I hope Quentin Tarantino someday makes 'Kill Bill Vol. 3', or any of those other related projects.

I'd like to see more Star Wars movies, but made by different people.
They'd be original stories within the Star Wars universe.
Essentially, they'd be fan-fics, which is somewhat off-putting.
I just want to see how different directors would treat the source material.
And yes, I am aware of the books.

Hey, I'm going to list some sequels I like now!

Before Sunset (made ten-years after 'Before Sunrise'.)
The Godfather Part 2
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (actually the first Star Wars movie I saw.)
Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi
Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom (not a sequel. A prequel.)
Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade
Jurassic Park The Lost World
Jurassic Park 3
Back To The Future Part 2
Back To The Future Part 3
Desperado
Once Upon A Time In Mexico
Clerks 2 (over ten years after the first.)
Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey
Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls
The Naked Gun 2 1/2
The Naked Gun 33 1/3

And some remakes:
Scarface
A Fistful Of Dollars
The Departed
The Omega Man (although I don't think it counts as a "remake.")

Basically Akira Kurosawa's film being adapted to a spaghetti western film were pretty fucking awesome.

I would love a proper (read: faithful) adaptation of Resident Evil.

I think I, II, and IV would make great movies, given the right director and script.

Also, seriously, Event Horizon II.

They are making a Ghostbusters 3... But it's going to be CGI which means SHIT!

Paz

I think it means "computer generated imagery".

Hypthothetical questions are awesome!

-Resident Evil
I actually just want to see the entire thing redone to fit the "horror" genre, as opposed to a "sci-fi action" flick. Its sequels would follow the games.

-Spaceballs 2: The Search for More Money
I've been waiting.....

-Kung Pow 2: Tongue of Fury
It was supposed to be a trilogy! I demand the other two movies!

-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Not so much of a sequel, but a spin-off. I'd like to see a movie version of the original comics. I'm picturing TMNT meets Sin City, visually

-Snakes on a Plane
I demand 2 sequels. Part 2 would be "More Snakes on More Planes" and Part 3 would be "Snakes on Every Plane.

-Big Trouble in Little China
With its cliffhanger ending, it was demanding a sequel. As long as it can keep its 80's effects, I'd be content.

That would be nice, an actual horror film of Resident Evil. :P

There is a CG movie that is directly related to the video games...

Looks like it was made for children.

I mean a live action Resident Evil redo, starting with the first game (mansion in the woods), followed by the second game (Leon in the city), and then end the fucking series.

And if Milla fucking Jovavich is in it, I will blow up a school bus.

Meh, I am pretty sure the CG movie will be just as gruesome as any of the RE games. I mean, it is supposed to be a bridge between RE:CVX and RE4, so it is directly related to the RE canon... And it will probably be better than all the live action movies combined...

Here, you can watch the first 8 minutes of it. Seems like it will be pretty good... Answer some of the questions that have been lingering since RE4.

Yeah it does... A pretty bad one at that (well not really, but it isn't portrayed very well)...

Paz

Everyone always rags on the story line in RE, but I think the first movie's plot was the embodiment of survival horror... the camera angles, the music, being trapped in a mansion with terrifying creatures.

I think, given the right director, it would translate perfectly into film.

Are you thinking of Uwe Boll?

Why wish for sequels of films... They tend to be pretty disappointing...

Not sure what I would choose if I had to, there are plenty of films I would like to see a continuation of a storyline, however they would be pretty dull cause the important stuff happened in the first film ;)

I guess the winner of the movie's comeback is Resident Evil, no wonder the movie suck so bad it need to be refix.
