Well for those of you who remember, last January I got a new Sony Ericcson w580i. (the black / orange one).
I absolutely loved, as much as one can love a cell phone. Yet after having one dead battery, and the same unit a few months (and cracked keys) later unable to slide open with out trying to slide shut. Then I got a replacement w580i. Well yesterday it also died out.
While it had been having some trouble sliding shut or open after longer phone calls little did I know it was going to die. While I suppose it is partly due to the slider again, or maybe the cracked keys... the phone ripped around my keypad so bad it lifted off in places, and still won't sit flush.
So AT&T is giving me the w760 instead of another w580i.
Strangely, I still like Sony Ericsson phones. Granted my wife's LG CU515 hasn't had a lick of problems, and she enjoys telling me so.
I can't wait to try out this new Sony Ericsson phone. I'll give some impressions when it arrives Mon/Tues.
Oh and no I don't abuse my phone. It was never dropped, mangled, thrown, kicked, flushed, etc. I always kept it in a separate pocket from my keys or money. I guess i just used it too much. ??
