You know how a heap of japanese games are always horrible translated into english [`All your base are belong to us!!`].
Well in japan, everyone uses the english word fight to say `try your hardest` or `give it a shot` kind of thing. like, for example ill be complaining i have test tomorrow and my friend will just say `fight!`. so basically its one of those words thats been intergrated completely into jap language to mean something completely different for bashing a guy in the face.
well this got me thinking, on all those old fighting games like mortal kombat and such where the commentator guy yelss out, `Round One, FIGHT!`
maybe what they really meant to say was `Round One, DO YOUR BEST!!
Now im really curoius to find out which its meant to be. o well.
anyway, list some cool mis translations from jap games that you know:
Some more good ones i can think of at the moment are:
`Its getting too tight in here! Everyone Spread out!`
`Unidentified? Who Are They?!` - Both Front Mission3
...mind block.... ill post more when i can think of some...
