No Jin for the soundtrack? Lol :P

I wish the trailer was a bit more revealing. I remembering seeing the first and second GTA SA trailers... those were mindblowing for PS2 in only a minute of footage each.

The name is Ghostface Killah btw, I think you got a typo there.

(I had to disable Adblock Plus btw to view the video, in case anyone wants to look into that)

Thanks for the heads up on the typo, not sure how that happened. I'm also not sure about the adblock and all that either.

Anyway, Rockstar did say that they would have more info revealed later today regarding the first official site launch. And also a closer look at the game in motion. So I'll be sure to post up anything I find.

For some reason....that simply kicks ass. I've never bought a GTA game but I will this one.

It does...the animation is excellent and the art style, initially a turn-off to me, makes so much more sense now. Looks like I've got a reason to pull the DS from my bros hands

It's the same art style as the boxes and other final art since GTA III.

Nice videos. I never understood why GTA IV didn't include puzzle aspects. I mean... there's so many things you can put it in when you're in frigging city.

It looks like a fine game for sure.

I might get a DS just for this game....I'm seriously thinking about it...Read the Story/ Characters sheet at the site and watched all these gameplay features and the game looks freakin' awesome.

Woot, China Wars is pretty awesome. Definitely a keeper handheld game. The shooting and fighting is done really well and the driving is easy enough to handle. Great stuff.

Looking forward to playing this game. Pretty amazed that Rockstar was able to port GTA IV to DS and still make it look great.

The game isn't a port of GTA IV. Still, it is pretty impressive on what the guys at Rockstar were able to accomplish on the DS.

I wish the PSP ones were more like this game. It's a nice recasting of the original GTA style. It controls rather well (at least with a PS3 controller I know lol).

The PSP ones seem lame to me because they are too similar to GTA III and VC. Like... I already played III and VC... I don't really want to play them over again but with worse graphics and a smaller screen.

Meh... I'm gonna play this. It's a very fun kick back game and it seems like it has a lot of content at the same time. It's pure win-win.

Drop kicking kung fu style ftw btw.

Quick Review/ feedback/ fan letter (:p)
It looks long but they are just lots of short paragraphs.

GTA: China Town Wars takes GTA back to it's 'core' with crazy dialogues, shit loads of options and activities and oh yes indeed, the RAGE mode.

As a man who enjoyed GTA4 (the SERIOUS ONE!) as much if not more than GTA: SA (the fun one!) it's safe to assume I'm a GTA whore as I basically enjoy every GTA that Rockstar 'crafts'.

And being a GTA whore, I know the series in and out and more importantly, know what to REALISTICALLY expect from each GTA game whilst keeping my standards high.

Well ONCE AGAIN, Rockstar has outdone themselves...I don't know if these guys have GOD in their office working for them or what but PC/ HD Consoles/ PSP, they can rock out awesome GTA games anywhere and luckily for DS fans, this is one of the best GTA entries to date.

A Chinese character and the Chinese 'theme' to the game and dialogue/ characters is a big welcome change to GTA and as expected, both the characters and the dialogue is as amusing as it gets.

Use of stylus I can't comment on as I don't play many DS games but in GTA it feels like they are using it enough to make you realise "cool, this is a DS game" but not too much that it makes you say "oh ffs, gotta tap the screen again!?!"
So basically, "just right" sums it up.

Not to mention the amount of things you use it for (playing scratch card games, tattooing, sabotaging someone's car, stealing a car, smashing through windows etc etc) is widely varied and super fun.

One excellent welcome addition to GTA: CW is the amount of activities.
As big a GTA whore as I am, GTA4 lacked activities (it was almost shameful, the lack of activities)......Luckily in GTA: CW, you get introduced to a new game mechanic/ activity every mission or two and guess what? These mechanics can easily be sold as a separate game.

The drug trading system alone is super in depth and nothing is more satisfactory than riding up on a drug dealer, knowing you are about to make a huge profit, selling your drugs, getting your money and then rolling out.
You can easily spend 1-2 hours becoming involved in the drug game and becoming the drug king.

Not only do these activities get introduced to you via missions but you randomly discover some as you just mess around, such as tattooing.
Not to mention all the classic like Taxi Driving, Vigilante, Ambulance Driver, Noodle delivery (a new classic) are all back and as fun as ever.

So they took the old GTA formula and upgraded it with a few GTA4 mechanics (GPS, getting around with a taxi) and a few GTA4 sounds I must say (most sounds are straight from the HD Consoles version) and so overall this indeed is the dream GTA package of old classic with new convenience.

Nintendo fans have been waiting a long time for a GTA game and I think it's fair to say their wait has been more than rewarded by Rockstar via this gem of a GTA title, they simply stuffed this game up as fat as it would get folks.

Best GTA to date; 10/10.

Here is a rough video I made touching on a few features of the game:
