Awesommeee! You guys rock!
Not as much as the guys whose game you rocked but still very close. :p
Congrats
Very nice. I got a chance to play the game yesterday. While playing the drums, I kept getting pissed that I was missing the easy notes. The window for hitting notes seems extremely short for the drums, as opposed to the guitar.
I also had a blast playing a number of songs. The Mercyful Fate medley was awesome on guitar.

^lol....thanks.....
and I am very jealous of your standings by the way....
This makes our top 500 in Rock Band not seem so cool. (especially knowing we could have been higher than that if ....well... ....if Noah's cousin didn't fall asleep while doing the endless setlist.

Haha, that wasn't Noah's cousin.
That was the drummer's (of this band) brother, one of Noah's friends.

oh.... dang.. I keep getting them confused...
in any case....
I at least got the Dyer's Eve achievement for getting over 450,000..... meh... nowhere near as cool though... especially after you get that achievement as well.

there's no double bass iirc... so the drums would be gimped.

glad they addressed the double bass issue, but as a guitar player that can shred any metallica song solos and all note for note, this game would really piss me off because I know i would suck at it!

Wow, that makes the game a lot easier with two bass pedals. My friend's extra bass pedal wouldn't work, so I had to do all the songs with one bass pedal.

"A lot easier" = even possible at all.
Expert plus has absolute craziness on it. Those songs really are pretty much physically impossible without a 2nd bass petal.

cool I guess... Although I think the title should be the other way around to keep them all the same.... so it would be Rock Band: The Beatles or RockBand track Pack: The Beatles...
Actually I don't really like the "track pack" being in the titles.... but I guess it's better they made it clear the other ones weren't really standalone games...
This makes me wonder if this is going to be more than just a track pack if there calling it "The Beatles: Rock Band"

I'll wait for my birthday to get one of the band bundles I think.
Let my parents pay for it lol.
Still not sure weather to go for Rock Band or Guitar Hero though.
Rock Band has better presentation IMO whilst Guitar Hero looks like it has the better drums.
You know, they should really just make every Metallica song DLC for Guitar Hero: Metallica. If they did that, I may never buy any other music-rythym games ever again.
I'm not too interested in the next batch of games coming out. I'll just stick to GH:M and RB2.

I have this thing about not buying revA products... and i didn't listen to that voice when I got the GH band set... the drums were epicly borked. While Activision is now offering a fix for it.. they didn't have one at launch... so i returned it and got some new software for my mac instead.

I enjoy rockband much more. The guitar hero drums would be cooler in idea, but they just aren't as well built and the drums in guitar hero kind of suck.
