Does GC have the strogest titles on the board

Lets go out on a lib and say that Zeldas release date is late this year, around the same time as Halo2. If thats the case I believe that Nintendo has the strongest titles that are soon to be released. This gives Gamecube a real chance to take second in both Harware sales and games sales as well. Ive looked forward to Halo2 as year long but you just cant go and compete with Nintendo on this one. So Far this is Nintendos war chest: Metriod Prime 2 w/multiplayer EXCLUSIVE, Resident Evil 4 EXCLUSIVE, and thats not even counting all of the DS material. I think PS2 and Xbox might have a hard time keeping up the Nintendo Juggrnaught.

PS2, IMO, has the most versatile lineup. Grand Theft Auto, Jak, Ratchet & Clank, Metal Gear, Tony Hawk, Timesplitters, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, SSX, Gran Turismo, and so on. A bunch of very well-rounded games. The GCN does have some of the best games, but the PS2 is more consistent in delivering solid material.

Quality over Quantity....always has been. I feel for all those boxboys with their loads of craptastic games that seems to have a few good titles randomly thrown just as much as GC. Ninja Gaiden was hyped to hell and back and has underwhelmed and you nothing of a good title again until Halo 2. Keep your quantity.

Have you played Ninja Gaiden? Easily spanks everything released for the GCN so-far. Full Spectrum Warrior won tons of awards at E3 last year, and will surely be an AAA game. The Chronicles of Riddick will be the sleeper his of the year. Dead or Alive: Ultimate will set a new standard for fighting games, especially online fighting games. The GCN has absolutely nothing to go up against the Xbox's far superior line-up.

I can't find total sales numbers, but according to NPD, Ninja Gaiden outsold Pokemon Coliseum in March in the U.S., with releases that weren't far enough apart for a noticable difference effecting sales, especially since PC was one of the most widely preordered games in a long, long time.

Now, if we're talking Japan, that goes for a big "No shit". Japan is one big Nintendo Fanboy, so of course it will outsell Ninja Gaiden.

Pc is always better anyways because you can add mods, levels, and better models of character for free by fans of the game....the graphics are better with the right card...not to mention free online, sharper controls, and better sound becuase you have 2- 4 speakers instead of one, the pc puts you more in the game then the Consoles...The only requirement is a good computer, but thats easily taken care of with Xp, because you can make a gaming account and turn off everything in the background...

Do it the same as you make a persons account, but name it gaming and go to the control panel and turn off all the things happening in the back ground, if done correctly you will get the best out of your computer, and it'll seem like 10x's faster then your current one your using...

Ok, Go into your System Properties and the Hardware control panel to create the various hardware profiles you can select when starting up your computer. Type services.msc in your run box and a list will appear. But before disabling on that account check with Windows to see what you'll need.

Overall this from a Old school nintendo gamer converted to a MS gamer ... hmm i'm saying that with the exclusives that the cube has. I think that Nintendo's titles will have more punch than MS titles (cept Halo 2 which owns the final KO no one but the most hardcore nintendo fan can deny that)

However Will the cube out sell the Xbox? i'd say no. MS simply can spread out it's huge number of A+ titles to combat Nintendo's release of a single A+++ title. plus i'm thinking that MS is doing a Sony with the huge hype that's gathering for near november and this christmas.

In conclusion MS simply has more titles to back + the big one ;) Nintendo will come out swinging with limited sucess and score some hits, but my thoughs are that sticking to the old games will make nintendo very attractive to the Nintendo gamers but not the crucial Mainstream gamer.

Umm Wrong. The PC version was definately better. How do I know this? The overall reviews for KOTOR PC are overall better then KOTOR XBOX, furthermore, just about every friend I have has it on PC or wants to get it for PC after having owned it for Xbox.

BTW this is not a flame, so please spare me with a 4 paragraph flame about how my family and I are supposedly retarded. And even if you did decide to say something, Not only Do I have an Xbox, but I own KOTOR on it and have played the PC counterpart which has enhanced graphics and less loading time. You got nothing to use against me.

This debate really can't be solved, it depends on your taste in games. I find FPS/sports/and racing games utterly boring, but I love platformers, adventure/RPGs/RTS, etc. so Nintendo's games/system is simply better for me (and PC for Warcraft + sim stuff), X-Box on the other hand only interests me with a few games, while it's quite the opposite for Adam.

The only thing I really miss with GCN is online, but that's about it, it's a great year to own either A GCN or X-Box, depending on taste. PS2 though, I dunno, I see almost zero interesting games that aren't RPGs, but I'm sure I'm just not looking.

In a way im still correct, The PC version was only reviewed by 43 media outlets, while the Xbox version was reviewed by 115, giving it more then enough chances to raise the overall score percentage to a measly 1 percent or so higher then it's PC counterpart. Given the sheer amount of people I have spoken to online and in person, Id say it's safe to assume most who have played both prefer the PC version. Factor in Faster Loading speeds, improved graphics and there's virtually no doubt that the PC version of KOTOR is the better game, regardless of gamerankings 1% difference. Let's not forget that most media outlets usually review games lower if there ported to a different system half a year later, as was with Halo. Halo got ported more then half a year after it's original release. The reason this is such a good example is because of the fact that Halo PC actually has more features including online play, and yet it received noticeably lower scores then it's older Xbox counter-part, simply based on the fact that it was a port of a game that had been released more then a year before.

^^ from what i've hear the two version rock, and this is the old PC vers Console debate. There is more to GFX and loading times, for example i enjoyed KOTOR late at night on the cumfy couch on my big TV kicking dark jedi ass. from seeing countless PC setups including mine i've no doubt that i would have enjoyed the xbox version more. This has been why GTAIII & VC on the xbox is consider has been the best versions (more of that another time) of the three YES YOU HEARD RIGHT better than PC :p

With advanced PC hardware yes its possible to Max out 1 or 2 more features. still its the same great game the xboxers got months and months ago.

This is a debate that will never be settled for one reason: Its basically apples and oranges. Consoles like the Xbox are designed to do one thing, play video games. PC's, even the gaming ones, still have many other uses. Where the most that you will ever pay for a console is 300 dollars at release time, a quality computer will run you about 600 dollars. So there is way to much difference to bicker about which is better. In my opinion they are two totally different animals.
