It's ok to make a new thread if you have new info like this.
Interesting.

I like the part where he says that they are making the new LOZ as unique as OOT, in the sense that every place you go has its own unique atmosphere, not like WW where everything was the same "which is island and see" it all looked the same in WW, hopefully this will be different.

I agree, in OoT, you knew where you were just by lookng around and in WW it all looked the same.

we really want to create the feeling that the player is in the real world of Hyrule the vast expanse and open spaces
Well the gmae is going to take place in Hyrule, I hope they make it different like LTTP's Hyrule and OOT's Hyrule.

Of course they will. Like I've said before about five times, this isn't a remake.

If you watch the trailer again you will realize that the upper right hand corner does not contain the buttons which show you the items you can equip. Although this might mean nothing, it can also mean that Nintendo will attempt to create something too relistic. If you look at WW, you can say that nintendo can give link so many items because it is a cartoon and in the cartoon world is illogical, therefore everything in it is logical. But, in this new zelda since the game is realistic therefore it would be illogical to give link too many weapons to carry and still having the same speed and energy. As we all know miayamoto has expressed in this interview that this zelda will be as realistic as it gets therefore, we might not be seeing a lot of weapons other than a sword and a shield.

Yeah, but they still have several months to change whatever they want. Don't base anything off of what you see in the video except for the basics like the horse and the environments.

actually i just looked back at zelda game trailers (OOT and E3 2002 WW trailer) and both of them don't have the buttons on the top right hand corner, but still my theory should not be decredified yet, because as Miyamoto explained, this is going to be a very realistic zelda game, so expect the best/worse.

^That really doesn't mean that much though.... If you think about it, the two videos shown (spaceworld and e3 2004) were just demos to show what the game was going to look like.... While they both were in game scenes, that doesn't mean it was actually what the in game playing screen is going to look like when it's in playable form. Also, why would they want item selection menus cluttering the screen on a game presentation unless it was allready playable.... Not to mention the fact that they wouldn't want to give away any of the items that are going to be in the game.
additionally, Fish, if you read this you will see that there still will be a variety of different items
Wham!: Can you give us some examples of how this adventure will be more adult and more mature?
SM: Link as a character will be taller with longer limbs, so we’re going to have a lot more sword fighting and action elements like we saw in a game like Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. And then of course we’ll have to have a lot of cool items that we can have Link using in different poses.

Hyrule's have always been fairly different, but they also always maintain certain themes. Like Death Mountain is always in the North, or Theres always a Lost Woods. I am willing to bet we will once again see many familiar locales rearranged and looking vastly different.

^ that's practically inevidable
Yeah I know..sorry for being the master of the obvious, but it seems some people really don't know what to expect when it comes to the new hyrule.
