No seriously, i cant wait for their press conference either.
I have the feeling everyone will show something huge, except for Nintendo.

Could be this but signs point to fake. Wish it was true though but doesn't matter.

wow OnLive support? That'll be huge is thats true
frosty

anything with a decent web setup technically could support onlive.

Specs wise looks like a powerfull little bugger. However besides the Onlive stuff its cut from the same cloth as the PSP 1000/2000/3000 series. Where as Sony is moving towards a more Nintendo like handheld. Not interested unless it can do what my hacked PSP-2000 can.

it's a microsoft product... won't take long to be hacked.
JasonXe
05-19-2009, 07:12 AM
I don't think there gonna come out with disc based games. Everything is probably gonna be done server size so idk how much hacking you can do with it. Who knows but it probably won't get to psp levels of hacking.
I just hope it's not fake though cause the xbla games i have would be fun to play on the road. Easy purchase for me as long as it isn't too big.

our internet setup is not equipped to handle decent server side gaming yet. onlive is not going to gain much ground until that is fixed, no matter what compression techniques that they use. the rest is going to be stored on easily hackable memory sticks.

oh i wasn't talking about onlive. I was talking about purchases from the marketplace like xbox live games. But your right if its on a portable memory stick but I got a feeling it is fake. They will make the design similar to the zune where you need the software to sync everything to the hdd. They'll probably check your purchases through xbl and allow you to sync all your xbla games. You get everything through the zune software and the mtu (?) still can't be hack yet to work on other software.
Who knows really but It be a day 3 buy for me. (see other people experiences with it.).

The ZuneHD was shown today... and as I predicted, it has a Marketplace integration!

the normal zunes already have marketplace integration since the last update (forgot how long ago was that). You just need a wifi hotspot and you can browse for songs and download it.
What everyone wants is the xbla > zune integration. So many Arcade titles I will love to play on the zune being mobile. That and digital radio being in ny I listen to AM radio more than FM. Web browser will come in handy i imagine.

I hope the big announcement is that the 360's dashboard isn't so slow and crappy and freezy..... [/bitter]

mine runs pretty fine lucent. Well all except for marketplace which can be a bitch.
Also, JasonXe, marketplace integration is meant as integration with the xbox live marketplace, so music, movies (hell maybe even themes)
not sure about games
sure looks nice though, too bad they're dumb as bricks and wont bring it to the UK

Yeah, didn't know that... but that's also because MS doesn't care for Europe in a Zune sense^^
- Lips 2 or retail add on packs. Our store (oddly enough) sells out of Lips every month we get the shipment in.
- Keyboard/Mouse support and announcement of StarCraft (te he he ^_^)
- Price cut or inclusion of 20GB HDD in the "arcade" (not gonna happen)
- Sega to announce new Panzer Dragoon game
- Sega to announce new Jet Grind Radio game
- New game in the Marathon series from Bungie
- BluRay addon or new SKU to support it.
While all of these would be nice (esp the sega ones), for myself the biggest thing MS can pull out of their hat this e3 (for me at least) is:
NEW KILLER INSTINCT GAME!!!!!

ahh ok, yeah xblm integration would be badass. Especially if they can integrate netflix too and use the browser to queue stuff. Also connect via hdmi to watch on tv.

I imagine its not in the uk b/c they still trying to gain steam in n.a. If it's a success here then i see no reason why they won't expand on it.

ZuneHD is a very good name considering the momentum anything with HD is seeing at the moment. it suggests next gen immediately. playing the perception game even if it only refers to the radio

An HDMI cable addon for my non HDMI 360. Otherwise I'm going to have to purchase an HDMI 360 this summer.

Not going to happen, ever, without dedicated hardware... There is need for a different chip inside the 360 to enable this, and the old ones don't have it.

Doubtful, since they killed the developer studio. Makes me sad to though, although I never really was much into flight sims. X-Plane is the only alternative for now, which runs on any system, which is cool!
Isn't it about time for Peter Jackson's new Halo game to be revealed? Its been about 2 years since they announced the partenership with PJ. Something about a third person Halo game with Gears of War graphics. Anyone heard anything about this? I havent exactly seen PJ release any new movies directed by him as of late so maybe the time for the reveal is now at E3. Then again maybe they dont want to take the spotlight off of the Halo ODST game coming up from Bungie. What do you guys think?

NEW KILLER INSTINCT GAME!!!!!
I don't know what MS has up there sleeve, but if I was MS I would be pushing Rare to deliver something big since their last games have been lack-luster to say the least. Although I have enjoyed PD Zero every time I touch the game, I admit I have never played the single player -- where PD for n64 was amazing at.
And of course I would love to see a new Killer Instinct. That game was so much better then Mortal Kombat, it's not even funny.
