So about 3 weeks ago, i got a speeding ticket for going 48 in a 25(school zone, he clocked me). I was in a Charger, Im 19, Im Black and My Court Date is on Friday. I am Pretty Much Fucked If I cannot get back and forth to work on my own everyday. The Worse Part is, is that it was my first ticket ever. and I DIDNT HAVE MY LICENSE... i have my license, but at the time all i had on me was my Temps. because i've been too lazy to look for it/replace it. My mom told me they might take my license and suspend it. as well as fine the hell out of me. What might they do? Can anyone help me?

I sincerely doubt it, I believe that fines double in school zones, but I don't think points to, but I'm not sure. Regardless, that still not enough points to revoke a license, I don't think that'll happen, my first ticket was an 88 in a 55, got knocked down to the minimum speeding, less than 10 miles over the limit, 3 points and a fine, mostly court surcharge.

I know that in Queensland, if you are driving without a licence or otherwise can't produce one, you have 24 hours to show it to any police station and then that part is all square...

Yeah, I don't know specifics in Ohio either, and I'm definitely not sure about the no license thing and what happens with that.

In Michigan, speeding tickets have a doubled fine and doubled points if they are given in school or construction zones. Did you try Google?

Oh well. At least you were driving a Charger. The more significant issues come up with class, not race. It's just that those two usually coincide. In your case, I don't see you having many issues. Get your license issue taken care of ASAP and make sure you pay your fines on time. It's not too hard to keep your driving priviledges. You basically need to be cognizant of like three things, so just chill.

I don't know about your state, but in Washington, if you can recite your license number, they can accept that instead of your physical license.

Go to the judge. Be humble, admit your mistake, ask for grace. Tell them you acknowledge that you are retarded for putting students at risk and that you have learned from your lesson and will apply this lesson to your future driving habits.

Basically, chop off your balls and put them in a box for an hour. Once you're done with your court hearing, pull your balls out of the box and re-attach.

At first I thought this thread was about a child asking how babies are made. To answer your question you are "boned". One quick way to resolve this in the future: Don't speed. I know your Charger feels like a penis you can drive around in, but don't speed. I'm 19 as well and have never gotten a speeding ticket or pulled over before. It's actually extremely hard to get pulled over so I don't know how people accomplish it.
