Well, I would just like to take some time and make this thread about the dreamcast.

What drew you to it? Do you like it? Do you still play it?

I love my dreamcast, I play it more than my Gamecube.

The games were simply amazing, I love JGR, so original and fresh, nothing like it. I wish more people would have tried out the dreamcast, it would still be going strong.

I could rant about many more games, but I will just name a few that I enjoy too much.

Skies of Arcadia - Awsome RPG, anyone who owns a Dreamcast and doesn't have this product, go get it, now. The blend of an awsome story, air ship battles, and a great cast and music make this my favorite game of ALL time, PC or console.

Shenmue - Simply amazing, I haven't had a gaming experience like this for a long time, the story is great, fun fighting, I wish Shenmue II would have made it to the dreamcast.

Uhhh, Shenmue II DID make it to the Dreamcast, in Europe and Japan, just not in America.

What drew me to the DC was the games, there were so many cool looking, and fresh games in such a short time, of course I like the DC, it's aesome, and I don't regret buying one at all. Worth every dime. I still play it, a lot, although not as much, see how I just got Super Mario Sunshine.

Jet Grind Radio is awesome! I love the game, it's still hip and fresh after 2 years. Cel-shading rocks.

Shenmue is a classic, easily one of my favorite games ever.

Sonic Adventure is awesome.

Soul Calibur just plain rocks.

What about underrated DC game, like Powerstone 1 & 2? Both are awesome, like fighters? Dreamcast is your console for fighters, there's Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom, Capcom vs SNK, Dead or Alive 2, Powerstone 1 & 2, Psychic Force 2012, Soul Calibur, Virtua Fighter 3tb, ect, ect.


I only wish I got a DC earlier.

I will tell ya. the dreamcast was a AWESOME system i mean i still love it, but on the otherhand alot of the dc games that i liked are coming to gc so besides games like shenmue i probably won't play it much, but don't get me wrong i LOVE the dc still.

i think skies of arcadi is a must have for me...ive heard all positive things about it. i thought the GC one was a remake but is a sequel?? i wont be getting ti for a while though. i still need to buy evolution 2, evolution was kick-ass

i bought evolution. i didnt like all that much. it was an alright game, but i got bored fighting catipillars and rats etc.. anyway the dreamcast rocks. so many great games. does anyone here have plasma sword for dc. i dont play it that mush anymore, but i play it.

From the SSs that I've seen, it is a remake. Sega just added some new creatures, a new ship, and a new character.

The DC rules. The games were so great and oh so cheap. My DC gets the most play out of my consoles.

No matter what anyone says Dreamcast is the best nex gen console. What draw me to it was that it was real cheap and i didnt have much money back in 1999 so i got it for that reason. and it is just such an innovative console. NFL2K1 and Soul Calibur all the way biotches!
