5 Reasons why GTA: San Andreas will rule the world:


1. San Andreas isn't a City, it's a state encompassing three cities each individually larger then Vice City. Not to mention the large sections of desert and country that lay between them. It's also a state designed after early 1990's California, a place filled with gang turmoil.

2. Improved gameplay means better targeting, and better combat. You can hide behind objects as you shoot now, as well as coordinate home robberies and detailed drive-by's. Not to mention many more buildings will feature inside areas, and they serve much greater purposes then simply acting as a save point. You can now also dual wield weapons, and run away from police hellicopters as they attempt to find you with a searchlight in the middle of the night. Hand to hand combat has also improved beyond mere button mashing. You can now learn new abilities in hand to hand combat as well as with your vehicle. The AI is also incredibly well done. Even the average NPC has many more actions. You can also target certain bodyparts of your enemy, and they will react depending on where there shot. Many new vehicles are included that fit the setting, including bicycles. You are also free to swim and do other things that were not possible in previous installments.

3. You control your characters physical fate. Eat a lot of junk food, your character will grow fat, work out, your character will become muscular and fit. People around you react to your physical condition, gain too much weight and you may hear people call you a fatass(I swear).

4. You can build a real empire. You will be able to build your own casino, buy tons of estate (which plays a bigger role then simply buying savepoints), and be the leader of your own gang. Control and coordinate your crew while you attempt many crimes.

5. The Main character is Black. W0rd.

Oh and I forgot, you can now do other stuff like swim, and the Grafixxx are super improved. It looks just about as impressive as Playstation 2 games get, which isn't too shabby.

Why don't they just make a hyrbid True Crime/GTA game already?

TC was better in driving, graphics, gameplay, etc. But, the storyline got pretty shitty towards the middle, and the city just wasn't big enough.

Well maybe that's part of the situation, but the fact of the matter is even if Halo 2 was on PS2(pretending it could handle the graphics) it still wouldn't sell more. GTA Is so popular and so mainstream that it has become like the Mario Bros. of this generation of gaming. It is without a doubt the most popular franchise in gaming today.

The whole world has been waiting for a mature, realistic Zelda game. Although GTASA will kick ass, the new LOZ will be even better. I think it will sell a lot more copies than San Andreas. Just think about how many copies WW sold. That game wasn't nearly as anticipated as the new LOZ is, and it sold over
500,000 copies. So in the end, LOZ>all.

here it is my prediction

7.0 - 9.0 million GTA:SA sold
3.0 - 5.0 million HaloII's sold
2.0 - 4.0 million Zelda's

Althought i must say if there is as much hype around zelda as there was back in the N64 OOT days then Link will have a good chance to outsell M:C

BTW i think that in Australia at least Zleda + the N64 was the most wanted Christmas present off like 1997 (was that the OOT release date? whatever)
I don't know if nintendo will be able to pull that knid of hype again, i mean dam that's the reason i bought the n64.
