Halo coming to DS/GBA

I've been hearing some rumors that Halo's comin' to GBA or DS. Anyone else here this? IMO is would rock playin Halo on a handheld.

I really don't think it'll happen, but it'd be very smart. They would make a shit load of money, not hurt their console in any way, and spread the Halo to peoploe's who might have ignored it otherwise, although if they do, I'd think PSP would be more appealing to them, not the DS, and certainly not the current Gameboy.

Whoa...I heard of this even before the EGM but laughed it of as nothing, then I heard it again from another before EGm and now EGM has it in rumor mill. Normally I laugh that off but afer reading the MS wants the PSP to fail and is supporting the DS with Rare, this is starting to have a bit of weight to it.

Halo was a good game, was still way overhyped, and would definetly give the DS a good 'mature' title and solid black eye to the PSP.

hahahahaha this is awsome, i can see it now Microsoft and Nintendo doing even more partnerships in the future. Soon they wont even be competitors and the Playstation reign will DIE!!!!!!! And to which handheld it should go to? I say the DS over PSP. If it were on the DS, it would have so many more features than it would have on the PSP.

I don't believe in this Halo for DS thing. The whole thing started when someone heard that MS 'may' be supporting the DS, as they are already supporting GBASP. They immediately went off on a tanget and gave out the biggest MS brand they could think of to get the rumour rolling... it worked...
One thing I DO believe in though, is that if MS truly is supporting the DS, is that they may not be working on just a game... but maybe an OS. We all know that the DS has a touch screen, just like a PDA. Well, that touch screen could turn the DS into a fully functional PDA, with MS's own brand of Windows OS running on it... Think about it... LOTS of money for MS if they bring that brand to all the Nintendo DS fans who want a WiFi compatible PDA... you can check your email, play games, maybe even send files... It's CRAZY.

That's what I personally think though... i haven't heard of anyone else bring up the possibility of an OS...

Metroid: Hunters is running on the DS and it's a scaled down Metroid prime, they could just scale down Halo.


Chan, I heard about this from someone on the inside before it hit EGM rumor mill. I'm still calling it a rumor and a very big IF. I do know that MS is supporting the DS but wxactly how is still under wraps. An OS is intriquin, I'll give you that.

MS already stated that they want the PSP to fail because the PSP will boost the PS2 and possibly the PS3 in market reach and MS doesn't want that and since MS does not see themselves and Nintendo as being in the same market reach, they will support NCl handhelds to help combat the PSP..

Imagine this though! Since Halo on the Xbox is 4 gigs, and the max amount of space a regular GBA cartridge can hold is 250 megs, Halo can come to the GBA/DS on...16 cartriges!!! Yaaaaaaaayyy!!!!!!!!!!! wait...no.

the thing about this whole thing is that the experience would be ruined on such a small screen so it would not own, not at all. I think the best thing coming out of ds will be side scrollers.

I dont think Halo will come out on the DS...all the good games they start to make end up not working( RockStar was making GTA3 for GBA but they cancled it ) so if microsoft was making a Halo game for a handheld game system it would be on the PSP...

This is for the GBA not DS.

MS has already stated it will not support the PSP because it would hurt sales of the Xbox and that they will support the GBA, already have with a few games, and the DS.
