What should I buy?

Recently, I've been considering of getting an XBOX or PS2 to fulfill my Video Game needs. I was wondering if anyone could give me suggestions on what to buy.

I'm kind of leaning towards the XBOX, but I remembered that their controller isn't that good. But they have a PS2 converter which alows you to use a PS2 controller for the XBOX.

Also, what system has better games?

I need HELP! Please give me your input.

I looked into it, and I'm probably going to get a PS2. Why? More game titles that appeal to me. Plus, I'm not possative if Perfect Dark will go to the XBOX.

If you know what you will get, what was the point of this thread? You mentioned it before too that you will get PS2.

Hehe well the only reason i see to get a ps2 is:
-Tekken4
-If u are used to the sony dual shock controller
-ps fanatic (most of the ps2 games will appear on the xbox

Xbox:
-DVD player (that is a lot better than the one on the ps2)
-8gb hrd drive for music storage and saves (as opposed to ps2's memory card)
-Lots of cool games
-The RAW POWER!! the grapchis are truly amazing, and graphicswise, the ps2 is at the BOTTOM of the 3 ruling consoles today; the gamecube, the ps2 and the xbox

But why arent u getting a gamecube instead?!! or do u have a cube already?? if not, DUDE!! consider the cube!!! its pure Nintendo!!

Gamecube:
-1.5gb mini-dvd's,
-the BEST controller of all times!!!!
-It's NINTENDO!!!
-Lots of cool games here as well!!
-Integrated 4player (ps2: 2player)

So what? Rare news? .. 5 games in two years? and the closest one is in spring, plus I wouldn't buy an X-Box for "Rare"

I'm getting one cause of some certain games, and to have all three consoles competiting,

But I'd get PS2, many many games to choose from...

Well if u MUST have 2 consoles, id go with the xbox... has the coolest games of the ps2 and the xbox and has better graphics, better dvd player, better sound, a hard drive etc. etc.

But thats MY opinion, its all up to you... if it was up to me, and i had the money i would consider what system has the coolest games, what controller is the best, compare the game prices etc. etc.

I personnaly think that xbox(apart from halo and jsr) has many good games that are exclusive yet.So ill still be gettin my cube this chrimbo
