Hey,

I need a little advice. Some reject spilled pop or something all over my GBA SP. I noticed that they have the security screws in the back of the system, and probably are not easily removed without that tool. What I am wondering, is if anyone else had this problem, and had found a way around it (IE. Small Flathead Screwdrivers, butterknifes, hammer =] )

Anyway, hopefully someone reads this soon enough before I throw the system out the window.

I have a mini screwdriver. It's like one inch long. It's from one of those Tech Deck skateboards. I used it to take out the battery and replace it with a longer lasting one. So if you have a super small screwdriver, use it.

You could go out and purchase one of those kits for fixing glasses. They always have tiny screwdrivers in em. But, if you have a wararntee backing up your GBA, dont mess with it. Just take it back and trade it in. If you open it, you void the warranty.

Well, thanx for the info guys. I ended up doing it with alot of pain and agony.. :) For those of you people out there that have run into the same problem as I have, I have constructed an instructions page on how to do your own home cleaning.

However, like shyboy0330 said, if you have warranty, do not proceed with this, as it will void it.

If you do end up screwing up your GBA SP with my instructions, I do not claim any responsibility towards it. You are doing so on your own, and I am only trying to help.

With that being said, here is the website:

I just sold my GBA SP and a couple games for $84. :-D I got rid of it as soon as I could, to get the most money possible. Because the DS is coming out this year. So I ripped off my neighbor, the guy who bought it.
