This is the thread that I think (of course, i have no power, so this may not happen) anything directly going to NWA TNA should has posts in.
Such as the TV Deal, Signings, ETC.
And to confirm it for those still confused, they WILL be on television at about 3pm EASTERN time, (1pm on the west coast, i believe) on Fridays starting the 4th of June on FOX SPORTS NETWORK. I beg all of you to convince others to watch it. FSN is a rough place to have a television show, and with THAT, the timeslot, and the fact that it WILL be delayed for baseball games sometimes, it needs as much help suceeding as possible.
Get those neilson families.
By the way, management told the guys backstage who are less known in the rest of the wrestling world not to worry about bigger guys (Sting, Hogan, X Pac, ETC) coming in and taking their time off the show. They signed with TNA, they're secured.
Some kick ass show coming on the way.
Hopefully, WWE won't sign with FSN and tear apart TNA cause they're better known...

I'm just so glad TNA has been around this long so far... We ABSOLUTELY need another mainstream alternative.
Go TNA! w00t
^I agree with Omega. Their overall product hasn't always been top notch, but im just glad Vince Mcmahon isn't running a total monopoly over the wrestling industry.
Im rooting for TNA all the way.

Their matches are great...
Hell, everything..given a little more money (which could be accumulated by the TV show) could become better. Hopefully they drop the weekly PPV's so they don't lose money

they need to sign just a couple more big names and actually keep them regularly
ScratchedAt
05-29-2004, 10:39 PM
Yeah, but now fucking WWE keeps or takes all the big names that are within the right price range for NWA TNA to actually sign. TNA can't pay a lot for wrestlers, they aren't rich. These higher talent wrestlers see WWE's wager and their chance of going to WWE and won't sign.

so thats why Ted Turner needs to partner up with TNA

Nah, Ted Turner would try to take TOO much control I feel. Although, it has advantages too...
I also failed to mention that on the Friday shows they will be using a six sided ring. HA!
It makes me proud

I don't think they'll last. WWE is struggling to get ratings over 4.0, and the market can't handle two big promotions. Not that TNA is that big to begin with, but still.

One of the main reasons WWE is struggling is there lack to bring something new and interesting to the table. Or some type of nostalgia that will get everyone hyped up.
With two promotions, people will once again become more interested. A six sided ring? KICK ASS workers in those rings? People will have an alternative, forcing Vince to pick up or shut up.

To correct Kdawg it is 3PM local time on Fridays on all of Fox Sports network. No matter where you live and you have access to FSN it is on at 3pm on Friday.
Impact wrestling says so in my the TV guide thing on Fox Sports West(since I live in the west) for this Friday at 3pm!
Also there are some pictures of the guys setting up studio at nwatna.com.
*They will have a hexagon ring much the same as spanish wrestling shown on one of the mexican channels.* Been stated :whoa:

If you don't know by now the show is on Fridays at 3PM!!
TNA need to try n get Jeff Hardy signed and get some big names, Sting makes a few appearances but they need more

um Raven, Jeff Jarret, AJ Styles, Sabu, Dusty Rhodes, D-lo, Shane Douglas, Kid Kash, Sandman, Sabu are not big names. LOL! Minus the fact that big stars come in for special deals etc.
Raven, Jeff Jerret, D Lo are not big names, these are intercontinental contenders at the most when they wer in WWE, D Lo was european mostly and Raven was a bad hardcore one who lost the title after like 5 minutes, i mean BIG names, i know a few make some special deals but they need names like Kevin Nash full time, WWE losing some good talent soon like Booker T and Goldberg are rumoured to be goin, they need that sort of caliber

I think it's safe to say the WWE will be going down till it reaches the ground, star wise...Best match of 2011 Funaki (however you spell it) Vs Spike.....

First, I honestly, despite what sites say, think that NWA TNA will not be at 3pm at all times. I coulda sworn I read it somewhere..oh well.
AAA wrestling... the worst mexican wrestling in the world. I want everyone to watch that on those spanish channels on DirectTV, some are funny though. I've seen WWE fakes...
Umn... I don't think NWA-TNA needs too many BIG names, they need to be able to MAKE big names, buddy

I watch NWA-TNA free on Sky. Its pretty damn good, or at least better than the WWE shit at the minute.

Hell yes. The matches are great, its a relief from WWE.
This is why I believe that TNA will succeed.

what channel/time they on?
(channel name not number, ive got cable digital)

Its only on Sky Digital TV I'm afraid, its called the Wrestling Channel. it has Japanese wrestling, ROH too sometimes. I may be wrong about it not being cable though.

6 sided rings are used in several big Mexican Wrestling companies, and they are truly very fun to watch. If you have a hispanic Station called "Galavision" on your cable, then I suggest watching Mexican Wrestling Sundays at 12:00 or 1:00 PM, forgot exactly when it starts, but it starts around that time.
they should bring back the two rings like in War Games, the 96' one was good when Sting came in a pwned nWo then left haha

I haven't watched wrestling in years. I starting watching it when I was 2 and just haven't had time the past couple years. It peaked when NWO and Degeneration-X were first getting started, and fell off the planet when WCW and WWE merged. Vince screwed up big time. That is interesting that there is another wrestling starting to gain a little ground. Maybe a little competition is all that wrestling needs. They need two wrestling programs to fight for tv time like what used to go on every Monday night.

Ive never seen NWA in my life until now. It wasnt bad., That X-division or what ever was freakin awesome. Too bad thos guys will only last fo a few years after they destroy their bodies. Ron Killings seemed pretty cool. That Kick he did and how he bounced off was cool. Hope to see more people i didnt get to see this time.
Vince said he doesnt cinsider NWA competition. He said that he's in the entertainment business and they're in the wrestling business

Vince is a fucking retard buddy,
Wrestling is what i think most WWE people want, atleast their hardcore/oldskool fans want.
NWATNA is going to deliver..THEN we'll see what vince thinks.
~cries~
I love when things like this get to show people TNA...

so are their any story lines or anything with this show, any titan trons or anything of that sort? flashy entrances?
ScratchedAt
06-08-2004, 05:19 AM
Not TOO flashy entrances, although, i haven't seen IMPACT.
No titantron if they're still the same.
Remember they are just now hitting the big leagues, if people like you support them, Mechandise, PPV's, just watching the product, then you'll help them get this shit.
Yes, storylines, often somewhat interesting and a relief from Vince McMahons stuff. Sometimes, crap, but often good. Also, there is an AMAZING X-Division (cruiserweights) in it that is a must see for REAL wrestling fans.
