I went to E.B. today and bought KOTOR, since I have a new Xbox. Well, I also had one of their EDGE giftcards, and decided to ask him about what it said on the back (it said to ask the store for details on how to get mor value from my card). Well, I discovered that you can buy this sticker they put on it for ten bucks, and you not only get a year subscription to GMR magazine, but you also get ten percent off all used games. And, if the game you buy sucks, or doesnt work, you have two weeks to return it. Then, the guy grabs four different magazines from the rack they have and drops them into my sack. FOUR FREE MAGAZINES! One of them was an OXM mag, with the Riddick demo (gorgeous, by the way).

I just thought I would share this new deal EB is doing.

Plus, if you buy one, play through it within two weeks, then you can return it for another. lol. It truly is a good deal. Not like ten bucks is a huge hole in the wallet.

Uhm... you cant turn in a game if you it. My brother attempted that thing, and they said they could give you another copy if it did not work, but that you could not return it and get another one.

But still, 10% is a good deal. I think i will ask about it. Is there a time limit or something on the sticker?

Its a one year deal. You get a year subscription to the magazine, and you get the ten percent off for a year.

And no, the guy was not retarded. Goes to show what happens if you frequent a place enough and use their services, as well as talk gaming with the guys up there.

Why do you not buy used games their, Majik Ninja? The games are in good condition, and if it doesnt work, you just return it, and they will give you another copy. I love EB for their cheap used games. Thats all I practically buy there. I plan on getting Freedom Fighters sometime for $20.

Its not just there I dont buy used games its anywhere. Maybe Im dumb but I hate buying used things, I like having the satisfaction that I saved up and bought it brand new with my own money.

Yeah, I think I mighta sweetened the guy up by hiking my dress up while we discussed games for a while. Then, I reminded him that I was just in there a week ago, and had bought my Box. I think I'll go to that store from now on though. And yes vise, Ima get Live in about a week. I need to find out how the MS wireless adapters are first.
