View Full Version : Chronicled of Riddick: EFBB, Will you get it?
The game seems to be getting solid reviews and features what are perhaps the best graphics on the Xbox yet. Will any of you guys pick it up? Im sort of thinking about it. It Ships tommorow.

Make sure you like single-player games. But it seems like there are tons of way to go through the levels.... with different ways to kill people, like Goldeneye. What I want to try is the thing where you grab a guard's arm as he's about to shoot you, twist his arm and make him point the gun up to his chin, blowing his head off.

That sounds cool. The movie looks good and I've played the demo. I might get it. It does have Live, doesn't it?
It's Live-Aware, but it isn't actually online.

If it had the online capability then it would have rocked. Might still get it though

Oh fuck... so no online play... eh, then I might not get it.
Man, you guys are some online whores. This is going to have an amazing single-player experience, and there is no way I won't have it.
^Yeah but Vivendi is a dumbass for not including Multiplayer. That was just ridicolous.
Theres tons of different collectibles too, so at least the game will force you to beat it more then once if you want everything.

Do you realize how short of a developmental time this game had? As far as I've read, they got about 3/4 or less dev time for this, and look how it turned out. In order for it to meet the deadline, multiplayer was a no-go. It could've delayed the game by months.

No they've been working on it for 2 years, and Vivendi want them to (of course) get the game out for the movie. If the game is a success, they will continue on with the series, adding in multiplayer. Some guys from Starbreeze, the developers of this game, post at TXB.

The game actually looks pretty good. Unlike the movie, which looks like crap. If I had an X-box, I.......still wouldn't get it because I don't think it's good enough. But I might rent it. If I had an X-box.
I'm gonna get it the game looks amazing, I've wanted it since I first heard about it

I will not be getting this game because it has a long name.

I stay away from the official forums, I'm an OTL guy.
I wonder where the hell I remember seeing that info from? I would've put a kidney on them having short dev. time.
Oh well, owned.
