View Full Version : Question about the DS.
Do any of you guys know if the DS supports link cables and supports the ability to be linked to a GBA? Im not sure anyone could answer this but I suppose it was worth the try.
well, if it's suppose to be GBA backwards compatible, i don't see why not

I see the logic but its always good to be sure.

I personally doubt it'll be able to do that. After all, the GBA is backwards compatible with a GB, but you can't link the two.

No it will not be able to connect that way. If you want multi-player GBA, get a GBA, they said that in a roundtable or interview, can't remember which. Although wireless supported GBA games (the new Pokemon games for instance) might be able to use the LAn capabilities of the DS, but they haven't commented on that, if so, prolly noly with other DS (the plural version of DS, I don't know how to write it) though.

You just need the link cable that fit the GBA and the GBC and both have to have GBC games, it works

I doubt games like Pokemon for GBA will be able to take advantage of the LAN capabilities. Its not something that would work, it's two different forms of connectivity, and the GBA only supports the new wireless adapter for the GBA. So I doubt we'll see it.

The last thing I care about is link-cable to GBA support. I'm so happy with the games that're coming out for it, and since it will have online capabilities (and PSP won't...I've mentioned this several times) I'm happy as a fiddle (or however the saying goes).
