So as part of my course, I need to make an online questionnaire for others to fill out. The questionnaire has to be done by Tuesday, and needs at least 10 participants.

So I need your help, ladies and gents. Click here to fill out the questionnaire so I can assess before or by Tuesday. I'd also like some opinions on the questionnaire itself here or further room for improvement.

Improve YouTube embedding

YouTube has awesome embedding features (attached) and yet we are still stuck posting them in crappy small boxes.

Can't we allow the [youtube] tag to recognise that embedding code or something?

I'm guessing I'm going to get a "we are waiting for vBulletin 4" or "the admin is away" response but thought I'll bring it up anyway :ohno:

We will seperate this into three categories. Nominate your three favourite games on Home console which includes PS3/360/PS2/WII/PC, Portables which include PSP/DS/Mobile and Downloadable games which include Live/PSN and Wiiware. One point for third place, two points for second place, and three points for third place. After we all vote we can tally up the points and have our 2009 E-mpire GOTY. Vote for any game you like and it does not have to be exclusive because this is not a fanboy poll. Be honest and maybe this site will have more credibility than VGA.

Premium Pay Service coming to PSN, current services still free

My guess is the new service will have features like video/voice messaging, possibly a netflix style "pay a flat rate for unlimited downloads" type thing, etc.

i think my ps3 is dead - disc drive problem

my 3 year old nephew came over and was playing ps3. i go to the bathroom and come back and the screen is blank and the ps3 is flashing a red light. i don't know what in the world he did.
it's unresponsive until you flip the main power switch. then pressing power makes it try to come on, give a couple beeps, the orange light, and then flashes red again.
if you try to eject, it tries, then beep, orange light, etc.

i tried to see inside but can't. the disc is stuck or something. i googled and found a post on the psx forum that said to simply hold the ps3 "nose donw" and press eject. i did that and the disc fell right out.

ok then i checked and everything seemed to be working. i was able to put the disc back in and launch a game just fine.
now though i have the same problem except that the nose-down trick is not working.

wtf is wrong with my ps3? :( it's an original 60gb version from 2006 or 2007 or whatever. (so i'm sure there's no warranty)

I'm not at liberty to tell you exactly what it is yet, but I can say that it is a gift that will keep on giving, and giving, and giving. it is something that will help you keep in touch with each other. it is not something that you will have to sign into the forums to use, or even use your PC at all to enjoy. it is something that you will game with. that's about all I can say for now... this christmas present won't only be around for christmas either... we'll be giving presents away on a regular basis from now on actually. we'll officially announce exactly what this present(s) is in the coming days, and we'll start playing santa claus on december 1st.

one other hint... i know we've done giveaways in the past that I wasn't able to afford to send off (damn economy throwing my business into the shitter!!!), but this giveaway is coming directly from the manufacturer to your doorstep, so that will NOT be an issue this time.
